The highly anticipated Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, a superhero action game starring Black Panther and Captain America, has long been shrouded in mystery since its initial announcement. However, recent information leaked from a chatty voice actor suggests we now have a clue about its release date.
According to a conversation Khary Payton (the voice actor of Black Panther in the game) had with The Direct, he mentioned that the game is expectedly targeting a release year of 2025 and even suggested it may be around the holiday season or Christmas.
First revealed in 2022 without a title, the game got its first proper unveiling at last year’s GDC.
The title itself implies a historical backdrop, with the story unfolding amidst occupied Paris. It offers a solo player an exciting action-adventure experience, where you can assume the roles of beloved figures like Black Panther and Captain America, along with two additional characters, all working together to defeat the malevolent Hydra organization.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of this game since they mentioned 2025 earlier. But lately, it seems like we might be getting our hands on it much sooner, possibly towards the end of the year, if what Payton said is true.
