As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must admit that the PS5 Pro has certainly elevated my gaming escapades to new heights. The Horizon Forbidden West trailer showcasing its enhanced version on the PS5 Pro is nothing short of breathtaking, and it’s hard not to be impressed by Guerrilla Games’ technical prowess.
Ever since the launch of the PS5 Pro, we’ve found ourselves investing even more hours into gaming. We’re intrigued by how the extra power under the hood enhances previous games and introduces new features. Sony seems eager to highlight its high-end upgrade as well, recently unveiling a trailer for Horizon Forbidden West, showcasing how it looks on the PS5 Pro in 2022. It’s worth noting that the related update has been available for quite some time already.
Still, Sony is clearly proud of Guerrilla Games’ technical achievements, and Forbidden West is arguably the PS5 Pro showpiece to beat (the jump from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on base PS5 to Pro is truly transformative). We did boot it up recently to see for ourselves, and were reminded that we never did get around to expansion Burning Shores; likely Sony’s intent all along.
