Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 4 Drops Hawaii Arc Trailer: Watch

The popular series, “Rent-a-Girlfriend,” is preparing to air fresh episodes this Summer, and a sneak peek at what Season 4 has in store has been revealed with the release of a new trailer and poster. It wasn’t until a year after the third season concluded that it was announced that Season 4 would be produced. The delay continued when it was confirmed that the fourth season would premiere sometime in 2025. Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait much longer for these new episodes.

Previously announced, “Rent-a-Girlfriend” is set to release Season 4 this coming July. As anticipated, the anime will be adapting the Hawaii Arc from Reiji Miyajima’s original manga series. This is further confirmed with the latest teaser trailer for the upcoming episodes before their premiere in July. The video above also includes a sneak peek of one of the major events from the Hawaii Arc that fans are eagerly waiting to witness later this year. Additionally, you can find the new poster for Mami Nanami below as well.

What to Know for Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 4

The fourth season of “Rent-a-Girlfriend” is set to premiere this coming July as part of the Summer 2025 anime lineup, though an exact release date has not been confirmed yet. Kazuomi Kogi, who previously directed seasons one and two, will take over directing duties from Shin’ya Une for season four, under the production of TMS Entertainment. Mitsutaka Hirota will return to handle the series composition, while Kanna Hirayama will continue with character designs, and Kenichi Maeyamada will compose the music once again.

As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to announce that in the upcoming Season 4 of Rent-a-Girlfriend, our beloved voice actors will reprise their roles! Shun Horie will continue his portrayal of Kazuya Kinoshita, Sora Amamiya as Chizuru Mizuhara, Aoi Yuki as Mami Nanami, Nao Toyama as Ruka Sarashina, Rie Takahashi as Sumi Sakurasawa, and Yu Serizawa as Mini Yaemori. We might also welcome some fresh talent in the upcoming episodes, but those details are being kept a secret for now. With the new season slated for this Summer, we can expect even more of our favorite characters in the coming months!

What’s New for Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 4

In the upcoming Season 4 of “Rent-a-Girlfriend,” we’ll see the adaptation of the Hawaii Arc from Reiji Miyajima’s original manga series. This season has been confirmed to span over two cours, but there will be a gap between their releases. The first half is scheduled for Summer 2023, while the second half is expected in 2026, though specific release details are yet to be announced. For now, it’s an excellent opportunity to binge-watch the first three seasons of the “Rent-a-Girlfriend” anime series, which are currently streaming exclusively on Crunchyroll.

This particular storyline in the original manga was packed with significant events, some of which aren’t particularly positive. These memorable, yet largely negative occurrences could generate a lot of buzz when adapted into the anime, potentially leading to an explosive new phase. Despite numerous romantic comedies reaching their conclusions, Rent-a-Girlfriend continues to thrive and shows no signs of slowing down, maintaining a dedicated audience who appreciate its unique narrative experience.
