Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7 Are Getting Native Physical PS5 Releases

As a seasoned survivor of the zombie apocalypse, having navigated the terrifying mansions of Raccoon City and the eerie villages of Europe in my gaming journey, I can hardly contain my excitement! Capcom’s decision to release physical editions of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition for PS5 is a dream come true.

A few years back, Capcom made native versions of the games Resident Evil 7 , along with remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3 , available for PlayStation 5. Soon, these survival horror titles will also be released in a physical format on PS5.

It has been revealed that the games – Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and the Gold Edition of Resident Evil 7 (which contains the main game along with all its additional content released after launch) – will become available as physical versions for PS5. This release is scheduled for December 6 in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, on December 26 in Japan, and in North America during January, though an exact date for the North American release has yet to be disclosed. The price will be set at $29.99.

Initially, “Resident Evil Village” and last year’s “Resident Evil 4” remake were originally designed for the PlayStation 5 at their launch, making it possible for modern “Resident Evil” games to be played on this platform, whether you prefer physical or digital versions.

Regarding future excitement for series enthusiasts, it’s rumored that up to five Resident Evil games are currently being worked on simultaneously. This lineup is said to include Resident Evil 9 and potential remakes of Resident Evil Zero and Code Veronica.
