It’s been hinted that the upcoming Resident Evil, the ninth primary installment following Resident Evil Village, may serve as a prelude. However, its specific role is yet to be determined. Excluding Onimusha: Way of the Sword in 2026, Capcom’s lineup seems somewhat barren.
