How To Complete Retrieve the Scattered, Escaping Colors
Initially, make your way to a checkpoint situated northeast of the Artifact Domain in Natlan. Upon reaching this checkpoint, spin around completely and you’ll notice a narrow trail. Proceed along this path. Keep walking until you come across an area nestled between the valley. Continue on your journey until you reach the specified location above.
Overpower your adversaries at that location, then settle inside a Tepetlisaurus for a moment. Utilize its digging ability to unearth the concealed device. Infuse it with some Phlogiston and a passageway will become accessible.
Step inside the doorway and you’ll encounter several layers of fragile stones. To proceed further, employ the destructive power of the Tepetlisaurus by breaking through all these rocks. This action will ultimately lead you to the depths below, revealing the hidden entrance to the Spiritwall Cave.
In the area below, you’ll encounter your initial Monetoo. Activate it using Phlogiston to make it move, allowing you to track it. Paimon will indicate that the graffiti is incomplete and soiled. Your current task is to locate the remaining Monetoo.
Journey deeper into the cave until you encounter three Monetoo encompassed by Water Slimes. Overcome the slimes, then move towards the Monetoo to soothe them and guide them to a secure location.
Among the three Monetoo, one is going to form Liquid Cracks. You can venture inside a Tepetlisaurus to traverse the Molten Fissure and discover the next set of Monetoo. Up ahead, you will encounter another Monetoo.
In this region, ensure that you’ve got your Tepetlisaurus buried beneath the surface, allowing you to spot the radiant red mark on the ground. Once you see the mark, trigger Tepetlisaurus’ attack there to cause an explosion, paving the way for Monetoo to advance.
When you discover the next Monetoo, the initial entryway you used earlier will seal shut. To unlock a new entrance and encounter the third Monetoo in this location, you’ll need to engage with the Monetoo. Continue along as they lead, and select the “It’s safe now” option when it pops up near them.
Please head towards the primary location, which is clearly marked by a large graffiti art piece. You can’t miss it as there’s just a single path leading here, ensuring you won’t wander off course.
To finish the puzzle, walk up to the four Monetoo structures and select the ‘Clean the Graffiti’ option. This should make the treasure chests appear and grant you the achievement.
