Returning Star Costs Seth Rollins the WWE Title on Raw

In an unexpected turn of events during the initial part of the show, WWE announced a high-stakes match later on, with World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso defending his title against Seth Rollins. As the main event unfolded with Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman looking on from ringside, they couldn’t resist intervening. However, things took an interesting turn when Sami Zayn entered the scene as reinforcement for Uso. Despite this, the odds still seemed uneven until CM Punk made a surprising comeback to WWE TV, eliminating both Rollins and Breakker, thereby saving Jey’s title reign.

Following a swift tussle, Rollins appeared quite self-assured, and this composure didn’t waver even after Rollins kicked Uso and evaded a return kick, choosing instead to perch on the top rope and taunt the Champion. Uso retaliated with a powerful punch to Rollins’ face, a clear warning to the challenger, prompting them to engage in a series of blows and kicks. However, Rollins skillfully stepped out of the ring to avoid a super kick from Uso.

After returning to the ring, Rollins swiftly initiated a series of attacks that pushed the Champion towards the ropes, but Uso soon retaliated with a clothesline, sending Rollins tumbling out of the ring. Then, Uso hurled Rollins over the commentary desk.

After getting back into the match, Rollins began a string of moves that cornered the Champion, but Uso counterattacked with a clothesline, causing Rollins to fall out of the ring, and then Uso threw Rollins off the commentator’s table.

Back from the break, I found myself back in action, ready to send Uso flying off the top rope, but he had other plans. Countering my move, he landed gracefully on his feet. In an instant, we clashed head-on at the ring’s center with a synchronized crossbody, sending us both crashing to the mat.

With renewed vigor, Uso took over, raining down blows and capped it off with a powerful Samoan Drop on me. Following up, he executed his signature hip attack, slamming me hard against the turnbuckle. However, that wasn’t enough to secure a pin for him.

During the bout, Rollins successfully evaded Uso and made it to the ring’s edge, where he managed to propel Uso into the barricade on two separate occasions. Later, after soaring from the top rope, Rollins received a superkick that struck him in the face. Amazingly, Rollins regained his footing just in time to prevent a knockout. Earlier in the match, Rollins sustained an injury when he collided with the announce table, which bled throughout the fight. Uso skillfully dodged one of Rollins’ moves from high above and then attempted a Spear on Rollins, only to stumble right into a pedigree. Remarkably, Uso managed to kick out of the pin, preserving his Championship title.

In the heat of the match, Rollins stood up and prepared for a curb stomp, but Uso swiftly evaded it and aimed for a sleeper hold instead. Rollins reacted quickly, countering Uso’s move. Next, Uso unleashed a spear and went for the victory, but Rollins miraculously avoided defeat by kicking out. Breakker attempted to intervene, but Uso shooed him away. In response, Rollins executed a superplex followed by a falcon arrow on Uso. However, Rollins’ curb stomp only partially connected with Uso, and he still managed to evade defeat by kicking out.

At that moment, Sami Zayn emerged, jumped over the barrier, and assaulted Breakker, knocking him into a post. Rollins was next to receive a super kick and a spear from Uso within the ring, with Uso following up by leaping to the top rope and performing the Uso Splash. Uso managed to pin Rollins, but surprisingly, Rollins managed to kick out, leaving everyone in disbelief. Breakker quickly charged in and speared Zayn on the outside before darting underneath the ring. Uso then rushed over to aid Zayn, and while the referee was preoccupied by Heyman, Breakker delivered another spear to Uso.

In the arena once more, Rollins delivered a stomp to Uso, just as Punk’s music echoed. Punk entered with a chair, striking Rollins and then using it against Breakker, knocking him out of the ring. After several chair strikes on Rollins and another on Breakker, Uso remained as the World Heavyweight Champion amidst the chaos.
