Re:Zero Season 3 Finale Shocks Fans with Hidden Twist!

The eighth part of Re:Zero‘s third season, titled “Counterattack”, started airing on February 5th, 2025. As we are now over a month into the season, we’re getting close to its finale – Episode 16. This last episode is scheduled for March 26th at 10:30 PM JST in Japan. For viewers outside of Japan, you can catch it on Crunchyroll worldwide at 7:30 AM PT as it airs simultaneously. As the grand finale draws near, the anime has also announced a special event for Season 3 called “Pristella’s Banquet”.

At AnimeJapan 2025, a fresh visual was unveiled showcasing the characters from Re:Zero in elaborate blue and white attire. Regrettably, the exclusive Season 3 event tied to this is limited to Japan and scheduled for the Tokyo Dome City Prism Hall on May 24th, Saturday. Ticket distribution for this event will be managed through a general lottery starting on March 26th, which also marks the release date of the upcoming season finale.

Everything To Know About Pristella’s Banquet

At Tokyo Dome City Prism Hall, I’ll be witnessing Pristella’s Banquet unfold, split into daytime and nighttime shows starting at 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM, respectively, in Japanese Standard Time. There are three distinct ticket options available: a front-row guaranteed ticket, a regular ticket, and a cut-out seat ticket. For more information about the varying tickets, click here.

Regarding the actors involved, the performance includes Yusuke Kobayashi as Subaru Natsuki, Rie Takahashi playing Emilia, Satomi Arai portraying Beatrice, and many others. During the evening session, Otto Suen’s character Kohei Amasaki will also be present. Please note that at this point, the cast is subject to possible changes.

How To Apply For Ticket Lottery

There are two kinds of lotteries for the event that fans can join: the priority sales lottery and the general lottery. To enter the daytime or evening session priority sales lotteries, fans must possess the “Daytime or Evening Session Priority Sales Application Ticket,” which comes with the 3rd season Blu-Ray. Applications for these priority sales lotteries have already been closed, and the winner of the daytime session lottery will be revealed on March 25th at 1:00 PM. The chosen individual will then have until April 1st at 9:00 PM to complete the payment process.

If you’re a fan of the Japanese series “Re:Zero” who either missed the initial sales lottery or didn’t get the 3rd season Blu-ray with the “Priority Sales Application Tickets,” don’t worry! You still have a chance to participate in the general lottery. The application window opens on March 26th at noon and closes on April 9th at 11:59 PM. During this period, you can either cancel your application or make changes to it as needed. The winners will be announced on April 14th at 1 PM, and they’ll have until April 22nd at 9 PM to complete their payment.

I’d like to point out that the winners and their seat numbers are chosen at random from all applicants, not based on who applied first. You’ll be notified about the results via email, so remember to check the “Application Status Introduction” after the announcement as well. For those using domain-specific or email-specific receptions, ensure that they’re set to receive emails from “@eplus.co.jp.” Fans have the option to choose up to two ticket types and apply for a maximum of two tickets, but remember to register as a free e+ member to secure your tickets.
