As a seasoned fan with years of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s masterpieces under my belt, I can hardly contain my excitement for the annual RGG Summit happening on September 20th! The anticipation has been building ever since they hinted at something surprising for their next title in the Like a Dragon franchise.
Just like past years, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has locked in their annual RGG Summit happening on September 20th. From 7 PM Japan Standard Time, they’ll be going live on YouTube to share all the latest scoops about the Yakuza series, aka “Like a Dragon.” I can hardly wait!
Enthusiasts can anticipate further information about the studio’s upcoming game, set to be disclosed at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. At present, only a few details have been shared, but RGG Studio hinted that the next “Like a Dragon” release would bring surprises. Additionally, it has been revealed that a group called the Minato Girls will be part of the game, with both live-action and computer-generated scenes reminiscent of hostesses from previous games. However, their role in the storyline is yet to be determined.
Absolutely, there’s a chance that the Judgment series might get fresh information and updates. Could we see the launch of Like a Dragon: Kiwami 3? It’s a stretch, but given that series director Masayoshi Yokoyama hinted at its release “at some point,” it wouldn’t be entirely unexpected. Keep an eye out for further developments.
