Indeed, a cast member on The Real Housewives of Atlanta disclosed that she’s stepped back into the world of dating, nine months following her divorce filing from former spouse Simon Guobadia—and she’s already got her sights set on a very intriguing individual.
Porsha mentioned, speaking exclusively to TopMob News at Bravo’s Fan Fest in Miami on November 23rd, that she has one particular individual whom she feels quite drawn to. However, she currently has a lot on her plate. Yet, there is someone who stands out to her more than others.
And the 43-year-old didn’t need any of her Bravo costars’ help getting set up on dates.
Porsha playfully said her friends are overly enthusiastic, given her current situation with the divorce. They’re being understanding, though, as she navigates through it all. Initially, after the start of the divorce, she felt a strong repulsion towards men. However, eventually, she found herself yearning for companionship, only to be met with encouragement from her friends, who insist on waiting until the divorce is finalized before she considers dating again.
Porsha explained further, “They’ve given me a roster of potential matches, but for now, they’re holding back on setting me up. They want me to recover and handle things first.
Plus, Porsha noted she already caught someone special “on my own.”
Regarding Simon spending time with his ex-costar Shereé Whitfield after their separation, Porsha shows no concern.
The reality star pointed out that he had already known her; in fact, they were acquainted even before joining the show. This explains why things seemed natural between them.
Porsha started dating Simon back in April 2021, and they became engaged only a month afterwards. The pair exchanged vows in November 2022, but Porsha decided to end their marriage by filing for divorce in February of the following year, which was just 15 months later.
