RHOBH’s Dorit Kemsley Shares Why Son Jagger, 10, Was Hospitalized

As a mother who has walked this challenging journey with my child, I can empathize deeply with Dorit Kemsley and her family. The past month must have been a rollercoaster of emotions for them, especially seeing their brave son Jagger battle through his health struggles. It’s heartwarming to see the resilience he has shown, and it makes me proud to be part of this community of parents who know all too well about the power of a child’s spirit.

Dorit Kemsley is getting candid about her son Jagger‘s heath struggles.

The star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” who has a 10-year-old and an 8-year-old named Phoenix with Paul “PK” Kemsley, recently discussed their family’s struggles. She revealed that the past month has been particularly tough for them due to her oldest child’s recent hospitalization.

Last week, Jagger underwent two surgeries due to a septic hip and ended up spending almost two weeks in the hospital as a result, which she shared on Instagram on Nov. 1. Unfortunately, just when it seemed like everything was resolved, we encountered another setback this week.

Lucky me, I was that fearless, valiant boy Jagger, as Dorit put it. With sheer determination, I managed to pull through and celebrate Halloween just as I had yearned to, all while sporting the Bam Bam costume from our family’s fantastic Flintstones-themed group outfit.

Dorit added, “This Halloween was particularly memorable for everyone, and I’m filled with admiration and pride. Our young one has shown incredible resilience, an optimistic outlook, and a determined spirit throughout his challenges.

Expressing gratitude towards Mick Jagger’s healthcare providers, the 48-year-old wrote in her post, “I feel fortunate and optimistic about the good times that are coming.

In a family picture showing their costumes, Dorit portrayed Wilma, while PK, her former partner (with whom she separated in May after nine years of marriage), took on the role of Fred, wearing his famous robe. At the same time, their daughter embodied Pebbles, sporting a large bone accessory in her hair.

A septic hip, which is another term for bacterial arthritis, is an excruciating infection within the joints that can lead to significant harm to cartilage and bone as per the Mayo Clinic. Typically, treatment for this condition involves either surgery or draining the affected joint with a needle.

On October 18th, PK posted a picture showing Jagger being released from the hospital. In the image, the youngster can be seen sitting in a wheelchair, grinning widely, and giving the shaka sign with his hands.

PK titled it, “Jagger vs The Virus,” and declared the victor, undeniably by a TKO (Technical Knockout)… Jagger Kemsley.
