About a month following the announcement of her ex-husband’s engagement to John Janssen after a nine-month relationship, a former star on “The Real Housewives of Orange County” expressed apprehensions regarding Alexis’ potential spouse.
Jim commented during The Sarah Fraser Show podcast on October 15th, expressing his viewpoint that instead of asking Alexis about signing a prenup, Andy Cohen should have inquired whether John was willing to do so.
Calling the SoCal businessman “very secretive,” Jim questioned, “What does John do?”
Jim, father of James (18), twins Mackenna and Miles (16) with his ex-wife Alexis after their 2018 divorce, added candidly, “If my actions were unclear, I’d want to clarify. Transparency is important so there’s no confusion about intentions. I wish him success, but I also have concerns for Alexis and hope she safeguards her possessions. A prenuptial agreement would be beneficial, in my opinion.
Nevertheless, even though they parted ways following 14 years of married life, Jim always spoke affectionately about co-parenting with the Bravo celebrity.
He enthusiastically shared, “She is simply extraordinary as a mother to my kids, and I can only speak positively about her in that role. Truly fortunate to have her as their mother – she’s done a fantastic job.
Yet, Jim voiced his doubts about Alexis resuming her role on RHOC for season 18, having left the reality program back in 2013.
He mentioned that he hasn’t discussed this with her, but if you decide to return, it should be as a fully-fledged member with a significant compensation. This has nothing to do with me paying alimony; rather, it’s about your financial wellbeing. In essence, if you’re going to be part of it, give it your all. It doesn’t make logical or financial sense to just be a friend.
And he’s not buying the 47-year-old’s friendship with costar Tamra Judge.
He said, “I don’t believe they are genuine friends. To me, it appears their connection is primarily for the sake of the television program.
