As a woman who has struggled with my weight and health issues for years, I can relate to the experiences of these famous figures in their journeys towards bettering themselves. The fear of trying new medications like Semaglutide or Ozempic is understandable, as there are always mixed feelings and potential side effects to consider.
Jennifer Aydin is clapping back at critics of her new slimmed-down figure.
In reality, the star of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” has spoken out about allegations that she directly takes Ozempic.
The Bravo star made it clear to Andy Cohen during the July 14 episode of “Watch What Happens Live” that she is not using Ozempic for weight loss or Type 2 diabetes management. For those criticizing her appearance and urging her to stop taking the medication because their loved ones can’t access it, she explained, “It’s just my hair making my head look big. I don’t take Ozempic.”
As it turns out, Aydin prefers the injectable drug under a different brand name.
The 47-year-old jokingly declared, “I’m currently on Mount Jurassic, my apologies!” He continued with a laugh, “Mount Jurassic 2.5 – yes, that’s the weight I’ve chosen for myself, and I’m loving every bit of it! My energy levels are through the roof, if you couldn’t tell.”
I, as a dedicated follower of “RHONJ,” can confirm that Aydin isn’t the sole cast member who has openly expressed appreciation for appetite-reducing semaglutide medications. In fact, Dolores Catania disclosed back in July 2023 that she has been utilizing Mounjaro for quite some time now.
Catania explained, “I need to take medication for insulin resistance and thyroid problems, which were prescribed by a doctor due to my pre-diabetic condition and thyroid issue.” She added, “There are concerns about potential side effects when everyone is finished taking the medications. However, all the doctors I consulted assured me there would be none.”
Nevertheless, the 53-year-old acknowledged that losing weight is not effortless, explaining, “I exercise frequently. Sadly, there’s no quick solution for shedding pounds, so I need to be mindful of my diet as well.”
Margaret Josephs is also a big proponent of the weight loss drugs.
Last year, she casually mentioned, “I have one weekly dose of them, and it aids in weight loss and enhances metabolism for me.” People have been complimenting her on her new look, but some of her colleagues have expressed concerns about her weight loss. However, Marge feels that everyone should do what’s best for their own bodies.

Why doesn’t it seem to be working for me?”
