As a seasoned observer of the Bravo universe, I must say that each Housewife brings her unique flavor to the table, just like a fine wine or a spicy curry from Dubai (shout-out to Taleen!). Some Housewives, like Sara Al-Madani, challenge stereotypes and offer a fresh perspective on life. Others, well, they might leave us scratching our heads wondering what exactly we just witnessed.
Lisa Barlow is a one-man type of woman.
Indeed, a cast member from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City clarified she has never been involved in the Mormon partner swapping scandal, which was a significant aspect of season one of the popular Hulu reality series, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
In a private conversation with Keltie Knight on TopMob News, the Bravolebrity made it clear, “I don’t engage in swinging,” adding, “I consider myself an angel.” (Don’t miss out on our extended interview with Lisa airing tonight, Oct. 15, at 11 p.m. on TopMob News.)
As it turns out, Lisa was just as shocked by the #MomTok sex scandal as everyone else.
Lisa, who has been a Mormon for 20 years due to her husband John Barlow, commented, “It’s astonishing to see the events unfolding in Utah. I guess I’ve always been unaware of it. The majority of my friends and neighborhood aren’t from Utah; they’re all transplants. However, if you’re native to Utah, the level of rebellion is overwhelming. It seems as though they believe, ‘We’re not supposed to have sex before marriage, so we’ll have it with everyone after we’re married.’
Sexcapades aside, Lisa celebrated the success of her fellow Salt Lake City locals’ recent hit show.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I find myself utterly captivated by their journey. Having been raised in the bustling cityscape of New York, I never quite experienced the deeply-rooted cultural influence that seems so integral to their way of life, faith, and daily activities. From their work habits to their educational backgrounds and spiritual practices, it’s all interwoven so beautifully within their culture – something that, having grown up elsewhere, I can only admire from afar. I found myself completely engrossed in learning more about it, and the experience left me utterly intrigued.
Which Mormon Wives celebrity did Lisa find most appealing? That would be Taylor Frankie Paul, the controversial social media personality who exposed the community’s involvement with sex swings in 2022.
Initially, Lisa didn’t expect to enjoy Taylor’s company, but surprisingly, she adored her. “I find her incredibly authentic,” Lisa admitted. “She doesn’t pretend or conceal anything, and her carefree attitude towards the chaotic events in her life is striking. Despite our contrasting lifestyles, there’s something about her that resonates deeply with me.
However, concerning her fellow “RHOSLC” actors, it’s clear that one cast member, Whitney Rose, isn’t striking a chord with Lisa this season.
Lisa shared her thoughts, saying, “I can’t decide if Whitney has moved beyond the show or if we, as a group, have outgrown it. I don’t usually comment on who should or shouldn’t be part of the show, but I feel like she hasn’t grown with the program and that’s challenging. She still seems to be stuck in the first season, making baseless accusations.
Moreover, Lisa pointed out that during the season five premiere, the cast members had called out Whitney for talking negatively about them when they weren’t around.
When we point out instances where she appears to be dishonest and suggest she might want to reconsider her actions, it seems challenging for her because she finds it difficult.

On Wednesdays, at 9 p.m., you can catch “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” on Bravo. Don’t forget to continue reading to discover where Lisa ranks in TopMob’s official ranking among all Real Housewives!
Bravo’s unsuccessful endeavor in showcasing our country’s capital introduced four women whose faces might blur in your mind, leading you to possibly dismiss them from your recollections—although they are named Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney and Stacie Scott Turner. A fifth woman, driven by a strong desire for notoriety, managed to crash a party at the White House. More details on her will follow later.
Who?
Vaguely familiar, but…
Once upon a time, DeShawn starred on the same TV show as NeNe Leakes. Surprising, we know.
This one-season Housewife brought nothing to the Orange County table.
Utah’s second-season Housewife, Jennie, ended her run in an unfortunate manner. Last January 2022, she was terminated following the reemergence of her controversial and racially insensitive Facebook posts from the past. Afterward, Jennie expressed regret but the harm had already been inflicted.
Her defining trait was “cougar.”
During season 16, the Orange County doctor, Dr. Jen, was more of a calm presence rather than a drama source. Her brief marital issues with her husband, Ryne (or possibly Ryan), didn’t create much excitement. However, one event that will forever stay in our memory is when Dr. Jen had a bit too much wine at the Dubrows’ extremely awkward yet entertaining dinner party, resulting in a memorable night.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but express my dismay at the debut season of our beloved nurse anesthetist show. The memory of “Esophagus-gate” still lingers, a term that no fan should ever have to utter again!
Katie often spoke passionately about her charitable endeavors, yet she didn’t seem very active on the show itself. She was essentially a one-time appearance with minimal involvement as a friend. Cutting the cast trip short? Definitely not advisable in the world of Housewives.
During her stint as a full-time Housewife for two seasons, Charrisse’s marital issues became quite prominent…Besides these troubles, her champagne room is another notable aspect in the memory of many regarding Charrisse.
A one-and-done Housewife, Shamari was at least fun?
In season 12, it was refreshing to observe some diversity within the predominantly white Orange County setting. However, Peggy turned out to be a source of frustration due to her peculiar disputes. Many of these conflicts seemed odd and frequently involved someone employing a word that she found confusing. Moreover, her choice to seclude herself in her room for an entire day during the Iceland trip suggested that she might not thrive in the fast-paced environment of The Real Housewives.
During season eight, instead of developing a connection with fellow Nigerian costar Wendy Osefo, Nneka’s storyline primarily revolved around an alleged accusation that her mom was a witch, which is quite extraordinary. It would have been more engaging to watch them foster camaraderie based on their shared culture rather than engage in conflicts without resolution.
In the 16th season, Noella whirled about in a flurry of frenetic enthusiasm, much like a tornado. Although her private tribulations, such as her husband James abruptly leaving the country and seeking a divorce just before filming began, added an intriguing element (albeit a troubling one), it was her ongoing conflicts with Heather Dubrow that kept her from languishing at the very bottom of the ranks. With additional time and another season, perhaps we’ll grow fonder of Noella Bergener.
In her debut season, she was known for maintaining peace, but by her final season, she switched to constant complaints over a discarded cake and baseless accusations of anti-Semitism. It’s hard to recall a more rapid descent from grace on “Real Housewives” than this particular instance.
In seasons 11 and 12, a longtime contestant on “America’s Next Top Model” chose a peach, but failed to leave a lasting impact on the realm of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” except for being pregnant for what seemed like her entire stint. However, she did earn points for her stunning read of Marlo Hampton during their time in Tokyo.
From what we recall, Karen was a dental professional, and it appeared as though her fellow cast members didn’t particularly care for her. Onto the next topic!
This was a real person with a show on Bravo. We promise.
Among the relatively short-lived cast members on RHONY, Jules didn’t stay long enough for a top spot, but she certainly brought plenty of excitement and drama during her time there.
So unnecessary they couldn’t even get individual taglines.
Everything Amber and her spouse Jim appeared extraordinarily desperate in their actions. Moreover, it seemed that he was drawn into more of the theatrics compared to her, which wasn’t a very flattering image.
Similar to Sara Al Madani, Nina embodied a multifaceted, accomplished Arab woman who skillfully combined contemporary lifestyle with age-old cultural customs. For the most part, she steered clear of the first season’s turmoil and was occasionally eclipsed by her co-stars’ more prominent, boisterous personas.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express my delight at the outstanding contribution Taleen made to the second season of RHODubai. I eagerly anticipate learning more about her in the coming episodes.
Sara’s optimistic, insightful perspective on life was agreeable, yet lacked significant dramatic moments (except for the occasion when she gave Caroline Brooks unsolicited advice about parenting, which wasn’t well-received). Nevertheless, this tech entrepreneur broke barriers and challenged stereotypes about what it signifies to be a contemporary Muslim woman in the Middle East, and we commend her for that.
The newcomers of “RHONJ” Season 13 undeniably embody the stereotypical Jersey Housewife and were entangled in a lengthy spat over trivial matters, which Andy Cohen considered futile during the reunion. It’s intriguing to consider their return for Season 14, as they could potentially climb higher on the ranks following an engaging debut.
In the first season, Larsa didn’t leave a strong impact before departing the show. When the revival of RHOM occurred in 2021 for season four, her plotline primarily revolved around her former friendship with Kim Kardashian and her involvement with selling foot photos on OnlyFans. (This is a simplified version of your text to maintain clarity while paraphrasing.)
After appearing as a Bravolebrity for one season, she also participated in season 12 of ‘Next Food Network Star’ in the year 2016. Unfortunately, her journey ended without success in that competition as well.
Sadly, she seemed to serve primarily as an object of verbal abuse from Brandi Glanville. Furthermore, her catchphrase promoting the idea that one can never be too thin was distasteful and unappealing.
Cindy was supposed to be the new Bethenny Frankel. Cindy was no Bethenny Frankel.
