Richard Simmons' Staff Reveals His Final Message Before His Death

I have had the opportunity to observe and learn about the fascinating life of Richard Simmons through these captivating images. Each photograph tells a unique story, offering a glimpse into his remarkable journey as a fitness icon and beloved cultural figure.

Richard Simmons had a final uplifting message for his fans before his passing.

The fitness expert’s team released the last scheduled social media update that he had prepared in advance, which was posted after his passing on July 13, at the age of 76.

On July 20, Richard’s team shared that he put in great effort into crafting his posts for you. He was brimming with ideas and often worked on them in advance. After careful consideration, he would go back to each post and make adjustments until he was completely satisfied before hitting the “post” button. Over the weekends, however, he would simply share a photo with a caption without extensive editing.

Every Friday, Simmons prepared his photos and captions for the upcoming weekend and shared one on July 14, an unexpected post following his passing. His message read, “Come fly with me to the moon so we can gaze among the stars.” With a NASA uniform costume in the photoshopped image, Simmons appeared inside a slot canyon.

The renowned host of “Sweatin’ to the Oldies” was recognized for his lively and upbeat attitude during his fitness video productions, social media updates, public engagements, and interactions with fans in daily life.

In his Los Angeles residence, the famed star formerly known as Milton Teagan Simmons was tragically discovered deceased. The circumstances surrounding his passing are currently being scrutinized by investigators.

Simmons was laid to rest July 19, his brother Lenny Simmons said on X.

“He requested that people remember my brother not with sadness but with happiness, recalling the positive impact he had on so many lives,” the man shared with TopMob News following Richard’s passing. “My brother genuinely cared for people, reaching out to thousands through calls, letters, and emails to lend a helping hand.”

Lenny added, “So, don’t be sad. Celebrate his life.”
