Following a prolonged hiatus, Rick and Morty will make their return to our televisions in the eighth season, promising an additional 10 episodes brimming with wild and unexpected escapades for the Smith clan.
The fresh episodes arrive approximately 18 months after the previous one, a role that fell to new voices Ian Cardoni as Rick and Harry Belden as Morty, due to co-creator Justin Roiland leaving the show.

The U.S. broadcaster of the show, Adult Swim, has shown confidence by renewing it once more last year, ensuring that the series will continue until at least season 12.

On Sunday, 25th May 2025, the eighth season of Rick and Morty is set to debut in the United States on Adult Swim at 11pm Eastern Time/Pacific Time.

Is Rick and Morty season 8 available in the UK?
Rick and Morty season 8 does not yet have a confirmed UK premiere date.
In contrast to previous releases, there’s been no indication that this new installment of the sci-fi comedy will simultaneously air in the UK, following closely behind its U.S. premiere on E4 and Channel 4’s streaming platform, as had been the case with earlier editions.
Initially airing only on Channel 4 (which is the British platform for Adult Swim shows), fresh episodes of Rick and Morty eventually moved to Netflix after a period. As it stands currently, all past seasons can be streamed on Netflix.
It appears likely that Rick and Morty might revisit one of their two homes in the upcoming Season 8. However, we’ll need to wait for official confirmation to know exactly where their adventures will lead them next.
