Rick and Morty: The Anime Preview Clip Released Ahead of Premiere

As a seasoned gamer and ardent fan of animated series, particularly Rick and Morty, I must say that the upcoming anime spinoff, Rick and Morty: The Anime, has me utterly intrigued. With my extensive experience in traversing multiple universes in various games, I can’t help but feel a strange sense of familiarity with this new take on the franchise.

The anime adaptation of “Rick and Morty,” titled “Rick and Morty: The Anime,” is just over a week away from its debut on Adult Swim. Although the regular animated series won’t return with Season 8 until next year, fans can look forward to an anime spinoff this Summer instead. This fresh take on the “Rick and Morty” multiverse promises a unique twist compared to the original series, hinting that it will bring something new and different to the table.

As a long-time fan of Rick and Morty, I have eagerly been waiting for any updates regarding the upcoming anime spinoff series. Being a lover of both anime and the original show, I was excited to learn that Adult Swim has started sharing new footage throughout the Summer, giving us a glimpse into this fresh take on our favorite characters. The latest preview clip released is a delightful treat, displaying a unique version of Rick and Morty battling familiar (but different) adversaries.

When Is Rick and Morty: The Anime Coming Out?

Starting August 15th at midnight this summer, the anime adaptation of “Rick and Morty” will air its English dubbed episodes every Thursday. The main cast includes Joe Daniels as Rick, Gabriel Regojo as Morty, Donna Bella Litton as Summer, and Patricia Duran as Beth. A Japanese version with a different voice cast will follow on Saturdays, featuring Youhei Tadano as Rick, Keisuke Chiba as Morty, Akiha Matsui as Summer, Manabu Muraji as Jerry, and Takako Fuji as Beth.

The upcoming series, titled “Untitled Takashi Sano Project,” is being helmed by director Takashi Sano, known for his work on “Rick and Morty vs. Genocider” and “Summer Meets God (Rick Meets Evil)” shorts. This production will be a collaboration between Telecom Animation Film and Sola Entertainment, spanning ten episodes.

“A sneak peek into the storyline of ‘Rick and Morty: The Animated Series’ reveals that Rick takes it easy in a fictional realm spanning multiple universes, while Summer teams up with Space Beth to battle the malevolent Galactic Federation. Meanwhile, Morty finds himself smitten by a cryptic girl who turns out to be an entity beyond time.”
