Ricochet Makes AEW Debut at All In: London

As a gamer who has been following professional wrestling for over two decades, I can confidently say that the acquisition of Ricochet by AEW is nothing short of a game-changer. This high-flying, agile athlete has always been a fan favorite, but unfortunately, his true potential never truly shone in WWE due to creative constraints.

In professional wrestling, one of the outstanding athletes is currently part of All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Known as the agile Trevor Mann but famously called Ricochet, he garnered much fan affection during his tenure in WWE. However, despite his exceptional performances, the creative team at WWE didn’t give him the full-fledged star treatment that he deserved. This year, he decided to leave the company and has since joined AEW, where he hopes to reach new heights.

It’s been buzzed about for quite some time that Ricochet might join AEW following his departure from WWE. On Sunday afternoon at All In, those whispers turned into reality when Ricochet emerged during the 21-man Casino Battle Royale, a match that granted its winner a challenge for the AEW World Championship. Just minutes after Ricochet made his grand entrance down the ramp and squared off with “Hangman” Adam Page, AEW CEO Tony Khan swiftly posted on social media, revealing the iconic All Elite graphic and extending a warm welcome to Ricochet into the company.

Welcome to AEW!@KingRicochet is All Elite!

Thank you all watching #AEWAllIn right NOW!

In the recent matchup, it wasn’t me who clinched the title shot (that was Christian Cage), but I’m all geared up for some epic rivalries in AEW. Being a high-flyer, I’m already standing tall alongside numerous top-tier talents within the roster. Adding to that, I share quite a bit of history with several stars of this company, which could potentially fuel some intense feuds ahead.

Prior to joining WWE, Ricochet had already worked with several current AEW stars such as Penta, Rey Fenix, and the AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland in Lucha Underground. Additionally, he has ties with numerous individuals through his experience in WWE. Notably, Malakai Black, previously known as Alistair Black in WWE, was Ricochet’s tag team partner when they both debuted on the main roster.

Additionally, there’s Will Ospreay, known for his extensive background with Ricochet, and he has previously discussed the possibility of teaming up in AEW.
