As someone who’s spent countless hours traversing the vast landscapes of Teyvat, I must say this guide for obtaining the Replica Relay Balls has been quite the adventure! The journey takes us from the top of towering staircases to the depths of dark caves, all while dodging and dispatching those pesky Fatui.
There is one achievement hidden inside Fatui research facility where they are experimenting on Saurian. We shouldn’t let that slide now can we? That’s why we’re about to infiltrate their facility and rescue all the Saurians. Along the way, we can unlock a new map, get an achievement, and also a Luxurious Chest. Truly a win-win for us!
How to Complete Righteous Resistance Achievement
1. Start by teleporting to the point north-east of Ancestral Temple first, then proceed in a northeasterly direction where you’ll find a captive Saurian. Continue along the path as it leads you further inside until you reach Extraction Research Center: Passage.
Upon encountering a lava zone guarded by a locked gate, retrace your steps slightly to the spot where you recently overcame a Fatui foe. Inside the treasure chest you’ll find a key for the Saurian Cart. Employ this key to release the Yumkasaurus, as their unique abilities are essential for opening the gate ahead.
Go on top of all the pillars there and use their Skill to fetch the Replica “Relay Balls”.
First, toss the Replica Relay Ball onto the metal platform immediately preceding the locked gate. This action will open the gate, allowing you to advance deeper into the facility. Beyond this gate lies a massive Fatui mechanism crucial for completing your secret mission. However, disabling it requires two Replica Relay Balls.
Replica Relay Ball #1
Advance deeper into the compound, as there are numerous Fatui present, so feel free to cause some disturbance. You’ll notice something digging underground. Capture it to uncover a Tepetlisaurus.
The Tepetlisaurus features a detachable grappling device. Use this tool and attach it to the container located close to the Replica Transmission Orb.
Currently, imagine yourself as a Yumkasaurus and guide the box so that it’s positioned exactly below a gate. (Refer to the image provided for reference.)
Finally, you can take the Replica Relay Ball from the metal platform and place it on one of the metal platforms beside the huge mechanism. This will cause a new gate to be unlocked (there’s a cutscene so you’ll know what gate I’m talking about). Go inside that gate for the second Replica Relay Ball.

Head inside the new gate and indwell a Yumkasaurus that was prepared for you there.
Utilize the Yumkasaurus skill to retrieve the Replica Relay Ball, which is suspended within a cage, from the cave. As the gate’s door has been previously opened, there’s no need to solve any puzzles in this instance.
Head back up the stairs where you find the Yumkasaurus, continue climbing as it can briefly ascend stairs without using a skill. Once you reach another metallic platform, toss the Duplicate Relay Ball onto it to open the gate.
Move beyond the open gate, then spin around to retrieve the Copy Replica Ball. Don’t worry, the door will lock up again, but it’s not a problem.
Place the second Relay Ball on the metal platform beside the huge mechanism.
To accomplish this task, engage the mechanism two times to deactivate it, and successfully handle every approaching Fatui during that one-minute duration.
Following numerous skirmishes against the Fatui, along with support from the Saurians, you’ll earn the [Righteous Resistance] achievement and unlock a lavish treasure chest.
