On January 29th, the creator of Fenty Beauty attended the trial of a rapper known for his song “Sundress,” who was facing charges related to an assault incident in 2022, in Los Angeles. She publicly showed her support for him during this court case.

At the Los Angeles Superior Court, Rihanna, who has two sons, RZA Athelston (aged 2) and Riot Rose (aged 17 months), with A$AP, opted for a monochrome black outfit for her appearance.

ASAP, whose true name is Rakim Mayers, is currently facing trial due to being accused of two felony counts of assault in 2022, following an argument with his former friend Terell Ephron. This incident occurred in 2021, when Terell, a previous member of ASAP’s music group known as A$AP Collective and who performs under the name A$AP Relli, claimed that the “Fashion Killa” rapper pointed a gun at him on a Hollywood sidewalk.

During a court hearing on January 28th, as reported by Associated Press, Terell’s lawyer, Paul Przelomiec, mentioned that there had been ongoing disagreements between the two individuals throughout their relationship. These disagreements were gradually escalating, leading up to the night of November 6, 2021.

Regarding A$AP, he contests the accusations and has entered a plea of not guilty to the charges, as per ABC News 7. If found guilty, he potentially faces imprisonment for up to 24 years, the report states.

The central issue in this trial revolves around a man’s feelings of jealousy, deceit, and avarice; however, it’s important to note that this individual is not A$AP, as asserted by his attorney Joe Tacopina. He emphasized in court on January 28th that the focus of the case is primarily financial matters. This point has been made repeatedly and he is prepared to reiterate it.
