Riley Keough is reflecting on having the King of Pop as her stepdad.

Two years following the demise of her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, at the age of 54, Riley is disclosing insights into their life during Lisa’s short-lived union with Michael Jackson.

Riley, who was only 5 when Lisa married Michael in 1994, shared during the January 15th episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, “Our life didn’t suddenly become more chaotic because it already was. However, I believe that when Lisa saw Michael’s lifestyle—with aspects he had that she didn’t—she felt a desire for certain things, such as a plane, which she didn’t have at the time. This sparked a growth in our lifestyle.

Riley, who’s father is Danny Keough, mentioned that although she was familiar with paparazzi before Michael came into the picture, her lifestyle became significantly more lavish during Lisa’s marriage to the “PYT” singer.

Earlier, she was living with my father, and their lifestyle was quite modest. At home, there were no ten million helpers to attend to her needs. All the luxuries weren’t necessary. I believe it was when things changed for her. (35-year-old stated)

These accusations were later brought up during his trial in the early 2000s, but he was ultimately found not guilty in 2005. Riley, however, mentioned that she and her brother were oblivious to these allegations against Michael, and she remains largely uninformed about them even now.

Riley pointed out, “No one ever shared any information with me. As an adult, I’ve never inquired about it myself. To my understanding, it simply happened as it did. I can only speculate that my father must have been deeply saddened by the news. Perhaps he expressed his feelings to my mother in ways we were unaware of. We were completely clueless. We had no idea about the accusations and remained oblivious to them.

Regarding any specific details about the relationship between Lisa and Michael’s marriage, Riley couldn’t vouch for that since she wasn’t privy to their private moments. However, she was certain of their love because she had witnessed it firsthand, as she recalled.
