Riley Keough Reveals How Mom Lisa Marie Presley Reacted to Past Arrest

Lisa Marie Presley wasn’t belting out “Jailhouse Rock” when Riley Keough, her daughter, phoned her from jail during her teenage years.

As a die-hard admirer putting pen to paper, let me spill the beans about an intriguing tidbit I chanced upon – the captivating actress who brings Daisy Jones to life opened up about her defiant teenage days and shockingly unveiled that she once landed behind bars before reaching adulthood!

In response to a discussion about her late mother on the January 15th episode of Call Her Daddy, Riley stated that she too had moments of rebellion. Specifically, she would secretly go out with individuals she was not supposed to be with, and these encounters sometimes led to her being arrested.

Although the actress from Zola mentioned that she can’t recollect her own mugshot, she clearly remembers the events that resulted in her encounter with the authorities.

Riley admitted that he had unknowingly committed a burglary. He attended a party at what he believed to be his friend’s residence, but it turned out to be an empty house for sale. The police arrived, and while many people managed to escape, approximately 10 of us were taken into custody.

Moreover, considering that being arrested might have been unpleasant for her, dealing with her mother’s response could potentially have been even more difficult.

“My mom was pissed!” Riley said of Lisa Marie. “She was like, ‘This is on you, girl.'”

She went on to say, “Fortunately, it didn’t make the news. I ended up being grounded for about three months, which happened around my 16th or 15th birthday. While I was under house arrest, my mother was in Las Vegas. I had to phone her and ask her to return from Vegas and bail me out of jail.

Despite my heartfelt wish for the “Under the Bridge” actress’s mother to arrive and pick her up, I unfortunately couldn’t be there myself, as I was submerged in my own world – the world of “Sinking In”. So, I entrusted another cherished family member with the task instead.

Riley shared, “I’ve always kept this a secret, but when she said she couldn’t make it, she asked my aunt to pick me up instead.

In the end, the Emmy-nominated celebrity reflects on a bold phase in her past as an experience she shared with her deceased mom.

As Riley said, “I had a moment as a teenager, and she also did.”

In honor of the second anniversary since my beloved idol, Alex Cooper from “Call Her Daddy,” tragically passed away at only 54 years old, I couldn’t help but share a poignant moment we had during our FaceTime call. To mark this solemn occasion, I posted a screenshot adorned with a heart emoji, reminding me of the love and connection I still feel for her.
