Rings of Power episode 6 teaser hints at deadly outcome for Elendil

As a seasoned movie critic with a penchant for epic dramas and a soft spot for tales of courage and defiance, I must say that this week’s episode of The Rings of Power has left me both captivated and concerned. The dramatic confrontation between Elendil (Lloyd Owen) and Pharazon (Trystan Gravelle) was nothing short of riveting, and the exclusive clip of episode 6 only served to heighten my anticipation.

Building upon the emotional events of the previous episode, this week’s segment finds Elendil (Lloyd Owen) in a humble position before Pharazon (Trystan Gravelle), following their intense encounter.

In the special segment of episode 6, Elendil is questioned if he will deny his wrongdoings. Following a moment’s silence and a few anxious glances from Eärien (Ema Horvath), he admits to them, causing an outburst in the court and many heads bowed in response.

“And do you accept Ar-Pharazôn as Númenor’s true king?” Elendil is then asked.

He shockingly declares, “I don’t,” ensuring his words reach everyone in the courtroom by repeating himself.

“For Númenor’s true ruler is now and to the end of her days Míriel, daughter of Tar-Palantir. And the only traitor here is you,” Elendil says, pointing at Pharazôn and walking up to the stage on which he stands.

He’s quickly intercepted by guards and taken away – but that’s not where the drama ends.
