Rise of the Ronin Supports 8K, 120 FPS, Ray Tracing, and Ultra-wide Displays on PC

In the approaching weeks, Team Ninja’s “Rise of the Ronin” will be available for PC, following its initial launch exclusively on PS5. This version includes all the post-release updates, such as additional missions and user-friendly features, but what sets it apart is that PC users can take advantage of exclusive graphical settings.

This system boasts features such as compatibility with DirectX 12 Ultimate, 8K resolution, 120 frames per second, ray tracing, and 3D audio, according to its Steam listing. It also supports upscaling technologies like AMD FSR, Nvidia DLSS, and Intel XeSS. Additionally, it works with ultra-wide and super ultra-wide monitors. For input, both keyboard and mouse are supported, with customizable keys. The user interface menu is designed to be interactive with “clickable” options using a mouse.

In simpler terms, the last part implies that it’s more likely to use a mouse instead of keyboard shortcuts when navigating this interface. You can find the PC specifications elsewhere, but Koei Tecmo has yet to specify the hardware requirements for ray tracing and 4K resolution. Keep an eye out for further information and updates as we approach the launch.

Mark your calendars! On March 11th, I’m thrilled to say that “Rise of the Ronin” will be available on Steam. If you’re curious about this exciting samurai adventure, don’t forget to read our in-depth review of the PS5 version for a sneak peek!
