In the most recent episode of Coronation Street, it was disclosed that Rob Donovan (played by Marc Baylis) met with misfortune when he was shoved down a flight of stairs by his sister, Carla Connor (portrayed by Alison King).

As a devoted cinephile, I, too, watched in despair as Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) confirmed the grim reality – Rob was no more. The look of anguish on Carla’s face spoke volumes about her grief.

Eager to keep Rob in his current state, Lisa escorted Carla outdoors. Meanwhile, DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), a fellow colleague, showed up at the location.

Lisa made sure it was clear they should put Carla’s health first and swiftly took her to the hospital instead of bringing Kit to Rob’s lifeless body.

But, once alone, a very much alive Rob was seen opening his eyes, and he soon fled the area.

In the meantime, Craig Tinker stumbled upon a voice message on an old mobile phone at the location where Rob fell. For the time being, Lisa managed to return to the hospital to stay with Carla.

Lisa clarified that a joyful Carla did not end up killing her brother; instead, it’s Rob who is currently in hiding. Moreover, Lisa expressed regret for having struck a deal with Rob concerning the kidney transplant.

Carla understood that Lisa’s motives were good, and the couple remained closer than ever.

However, while Rob was concealed somewhere within Weatherfield, he reached out to his son Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll) for assistance through a message.

Will Bobby do as Rob asks?
