As you progress in the narrative of Avowed, you’ll gradually unveil diverse regions, each with its distinctive atmosphere. Following your journey through Dawnshore and Emerald Stairs, the third region you’ll access is Shatterscarp – a vast desert expanse.
Similar to other areas, there are three hidden map locations in Shatterscarp, and one of these is the ‘Robe of the Arcane Trickster’. This treasure guide directs you to an exceptional armor piece, particularly beneficial for specific character configurations.
Robe Of The Arcane Cheater Treasure Map Location
In my gaming adventures so far, you usually stumble upon treasure maps either by discovering them during exploration or purchasing them from merchants in the main settlements for each region. However, when it comes to the Robe of the Arcane Cheater, you need to buy it – and here’s the twist, this particular item isn’t sold by a merchant within Thirdborn.
The trader you’re looking for is situated on the opposite side of the rock formations that include Tago’s Tower, more towards the upper-middle section of your map. As you approach the vicinity, you’ll notice a trader icon inside a small cave, where you can purchase the map for 1,680 currency units.
Robe Of The Arcane Cheater Treasure Location
The map to the Robe of the Arcane Cheater may seem deceptive since it indicates a desert landscape with a tiny cave, leading one to believe it’s hidden near the Great Sand Sea. In reality, the correct location for this treasure is in the ancient lakebed region.
As you examine the map, notice several bodies of water marked as “Ancient Lakebed.” To reach your objective, proceed towards the largest one on the left side, where both a bounty target and a unique weapon are located. At the western edge of this water body, glance eastward to spot a recognizable landmark.
Just head towards the incline to your left, which will lead you to an elevated region. There, you’ll find a ledge with a cave nearby that you can jump onto. Once inside the cave, you’ll discover the extraordinary Robes of Radiant Luminescence, which grant you additional essence and area-of-effect damage.
