Robin Thicke Marries April Love Geary in Star-Studded Ceremony

Everybody get up and welcome the bride and groom.

I, an over-the-moon fanatic, am thrilled to share that Robin Thicke, the iconic “Blurred Lines” singer, tied the knot with April Love Geary in the beautiful locale of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on May 30. This joyous event came about a week after he popped the question once more to his cherished companion—the mother of his three enchanting children, Mia Love Thicke (7), Lola Alain Thicke (6), and Luca Patrick Thicke (4). What a wonderful union it is!

The bride made her way down the aisle amidst famous attendees such as model Stormi Bree, along with Leonardo DiCaprio and Usher (according to TMZ). She was adorned in a high neck, long-sleeved lace wedding dress and a veil that stretched all the way to the cathedral, while the groom donned a black tuxedo. Footage of this event was shared by documentary director Kelly Noonan Gores on social media.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share my latest life update! Last Christmas Eve in 2018, while expecting our beautiful daughter Lola, my beloved partner Robin proposed to me amidst the magic of the holiday season. However, being the romantic soul he is, Robin decided to reaffirm his love for me again earlier this May during a memorable trip to France. We were fortunate enough to attend the 2025 Cannes Film Festival together, making the proposal moment even more extraordinary! Our family of four – including our son Julian Fuego Thicke (15) and I, along with my ex-wife Paula Patton – looks forward to many more joyous moments together.

During our trip to Cannes, Robin took me by surprise with another proposal and a stunning new ring crafted by my dear friend Nikki (@nikkiwhatnikkiwho) at Established Jewelry! I can’t get enough of it; thank you so much!! April posted on Instagram May 25, accompanied by pictures of the singer proposing to her on one knee on the steps of Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes. This journey was truly magical.

She added, “I love you so much @robinthicke.”

For several weeks now, April has been in a whirlwind of wedding preparations. Just before posting pictures from their trip, she excitedly announced on social media that she had been “taken aback by an unforgettable bridal shower weekend,” mentioning friends like Kelly Stafford and Meghan Markle.

What led to the royal connection between the couple? Well, it turns out that the Duchess of Sussex, who used to be a calligrapher, had penned the wedding invitations for Robin and Paula back in 2005, as Robin revealed to Us Weekly. Over time, a shared hobby was what sparked April’s friendship with Meghan and their entire group.

In April’s May 18 Instagram post, she wrote: “A couple of years back, Robin made me enroll in tennis lessons. I’m incredibly glad he did as it brought me to this wonderful, kind-hearted, and hilarious group of ladies. I can’t express enough my gratitude towards each one of you for this weekend.

A few years back, Robin convinced me to enroll in tennis lessons, and I’m incredibly glad he did as it brought me to this wonderful group of kind, funny, beautiful ladies. I’m deeply grateful for each one of you, I can’t express my gratitude enough for the weekend we just had together.

Now, April is marking another significant personal achievement as she gets married to Robin. This wedding is over a decade since they first crossed paths at a Labor Day party in Malibu, California, in 2014, and a year following Robin’s memorable MTV VMAs performance alongside Miley Cyrus.

On our recent chat during the 2024 episode of “The Morning After with Kelly Stafford and Hank” podcast, I confessed to Matthew Stafford’s wife and my doubles partner, “I was familiar with ‘Blurred Lines,’ the Miley Cyrus phenomenon, and ‘Lost Without U.’ However, beyond his music, I didn’t know much about him on a personal level.

Following April’s departure from the get-together without Robin, a common acquaintance provided him with her phone number; however, he didn’t contact her—an aspect she would later criticize him for, when they ran into each other at 1 OAK nightclub in Los Angeles.

April shared, “I was dancing on high up there on the table, and a guy looked up at me, saying, ‘Hey, I recall you,’ to which I replied, ‘You didn’t reach out.’ Then later on, I ended up going with him. However, we didn’t share a bed. Instead, we went to his place for an after-party, and I guess I simply never left.
