The standalone expansion for RoboCop: Rogue City titled “Unfinished Business” now has an official launch date on PlayStation 5 – the 17th of July. To back this up, we have an exciting new story trailer that you can check out!
2023’s RoboCop: Rogue City effectively recaptures the gritty and humorously over-the-top feel of the original RoboCop films, so we’re eagerly anticipating that Unfinished Business will follow suit.
Once more, this is an independent expansion. Although it follows the storyline of Rogue City, you won’t require the original game to enjoy Unfinished Business. Instead, you can purchase it independently through the PlayStation Store. At this time, we don’t have information about its price.

Here’s a quick rundown of Unfinished Business via the press release:
Apart from embarking on a fresh journey, gamers can anticipate a variety of new features and advancements, such as the introduction of the Cryo Cannon as a weapon, encounters with android adversaries wielding katanas, and powerful final moves. To top it off, certain gameplay scenarios will enable players to reexperience events through exhilarating flashbacks, offering them an exclusive chance, for the first time in a video game, to take on the role of Alex Murphy himself.
The action unfolds inside the foreboding OmniTower, a colossal residential high-rise where RoboCop needs to navigate and climb up through its towering floors. It has a feel similar to the 2012 version of “Dredd” – quite exciting indeed!
By the way, did you know that Peter Weller, the original actor of RoboCop, will be playing the title character once more, that is, the robotic law enforcer, and naturally, Alex Murphy too.
