Rod Stewart’s Glastonbury 2025 Performance Will Cost Him a Shocking £300,000!

In preparation for his performance at the Glastonbury Festival 2025, the renowned rock star, Sir Rod Stewart, has disclosed the significant amount he will be spending for the event.

Twenty-three years have passed since his previous performance on the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm, but Stewart is preparing for another appearance at Glastonbury this year, taking up the Legends spot.

In this week’s TopMob magazine, Stewart shared some details about the festival, including the fact that his participation in the renowned event will cost him an impressive £300,000.

As a dedicated cinephile, I’ve been traversing the United States for quite some time now, fulfilling a long-term obligation. This journey has seen me, my team, and our equipment cross the vast expanse of the Atlantic Ocean. Preparing for my upcoming Glastonbury appearance while managing these logistical challenges has proven to be an intriguing puzzle.

He clarifies that the task was assigned to him approximately eight months ago, though it might have been slightly more. However, it conflicted with his schedule due to the necessity of returning everyone from the U.S. at that time.

As a movie enthusiast, let me put it this way: “I break down the expenses associated with transporting gear and setting up, revealing that it sets me back a whopping £300,000. Yet, the pay I receive is only around 120,000 pounds. In essence, I’m shelling out the difference.

Gratefully, Sir Rod doesn’t mind bearing the expense since playing in the Legends slot, which other notable artists have graced before, is an honor he values highly – he considers it “irrelevant” if it means he needs to cover the cost.

The Legendary Slot by Stewart is scheduled for the last day of the festival, which is Sunday, 29th June. You can expect him to perform on the Pyramid Stage around the evening hours.

2022’s music festival will feature The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo as main acts, offering a diverse range of tunes for everyone’s listening pleasure.

The full version of this interview will be available to read online on Tuesday 17th June.
