As a seasoned RollerCoaster Tycoon fanatic with decades of theme park management under my belt, I couldn’t be more thrilled about Atari bringing RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic to the Nintendo Switch! With its seamless blend of the original and sequel games, it’s like getting a front-row seat to roller coaster nirvana.
It’s unclear if we’ll get a brand new entry in the RollerCoaster Tycoon series anytime soon or not, but fortunately, Atari continues to keep the franchise going by frequently rereleasing it. Another rerelease is scheduled for the Nintendo Switch in the near future.
On December 5, Atari is set to release “RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic” on the Nintendo Switch. This collection merges “RollerCoaster Tycoon” and “RollerCoaster Tycoon 2,” offering players a unified experience. According to Atari, the port has been tailored for optimal controller use on the Switch. For a sneak peek at how it will appear on the platform, watch the trailer below.
2020 saw Frontier Foundry introduce the comprehensive edition of “RollerCoaster Tycoon 3” onto Nintendo’s system, making for a satisfying experience for Switch gamers who are enthusiasts of RCT series in recent times.
RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is currently available on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android.
