Ron Weasley’s Baby No. 2: Meet Goldie G. Grint!

You’re a dad again, Ron!

Actor Rupert Grint, famously known for his role in Harry Potter, and his girlfriend Georgia Groome have expanded their family by welcoming a new addition – a baby girl, making it their second child together.

36-year-old actor, announces birth of newborn daughter Goldie G. Grint on April 27, through an Instagram post titled “Partially Unveiling a Secret – Meet Goldie G. Grint!” He wrote, “A perfect 10 (so far).

Next to the picture where Goldie is seen in a white onesie with her name embroidered and wearing a gray knitted cardigan over it, the actor posted, “A big thanks to @alex.digesu for consistently providing excellent care,” acknowledging his wife’s obstetrician-gynecologist.

In the context of the original text, Rupert, who portrayed Ron Weasley, Harry Potter’s best friend in the movies, shared a photo following their sighting in London with Georgia and their newborn child. Neither he nor his partner had previously confirmed that they were expecting another child.

Rupert and Georgia are also parents to daughter Wednesday G. Grint, who was born in 2020.

In November of that year, Rupert shared news about her birth, a few months following her arrival. This was his inaugural Instagram post and it set a Guinness World Record as he became the quickest individual to gain one million followers on the platform – an achievement reached in 4 hours and 1 minute.

You’re a dad again, Ron!

Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint and his girlfriend Georgia Groome have given birth to their second daughter.

36-year-old actor, Rupert, officially announced the news on April 27th by posting a picture of the newborn on Instagram with the caption, “Slightly Unveiling Our Secret Child – Welcome Goldie G. Grint! A perfect 10 (so far).

Next to the image, where Goldie is seen in a white onesie labeled with her name and underneath a knitted gray cardigan, the actress posted, “A big thank you to @alex.digesu for being so reliable,” expressing gratitude towards her obstetrician-gynecologist who happens to be her husband.

Rupert (the actor who portrayed Harry Potter’s friend Ron Weasley in the films) shared a photo of him and Georgia, taken in London with their newborn baby, without previously announcing that they were going to have a second child.

Rupert and Georgia are also parents to daughter Wednesday G. Grint, who was born in 2020.

In November of that year, Rupert revealed her birth, which had occurred earlier. This was his inaugural Instagram post, setting a record with Guinness World Records as he became the quickest individual to gain one million followers in only 4 hours and 1 minute on the platform.

Though Rupert generally prefers to keep personal matters regarding his family hidden, on occasion, he has disclosed glimpses of his experiences as a parent. For instance, in the year 2022, he expressed his affection for fatherhood and unveiled the story behind Wednesday’s name.

He mentioned on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that he tends to be cautious about claiming something was influenced by The Addams Family, but in truth, it was.

The Snatch star also shared the reason behind assigning him a middle initial on Wednesday, mentioning that it was inspired by figures such as Samuel L. Jackson and Michael J. Fox who have a middle initial in their names.

Rupert also revealed how he was slowly introducing Wednesday to Harry Potter

I’ve started showing her movie trailers, and she has toys with my image.”)

In simpler terms, it was disclosed that the renowned British actor found out that his daughter had unintentionally picked up a strong language, as she accompanied him in his dressing room while he went through his lines for the show “The Servant”, where his character frequently uses profanity.

She blurts out ‘dada’ and ‘mama’ simultaneously, and she uses a strong word quite promptly,” he explained. “Now, whenever she’s thrilled or enthusiastic, she repeats that same term. Today, we were in a toy store, and she was wandering around casually, repeatedly saying it.

In 2023, following the conclusion of the Apple TV+ series that was shot in Pennsylvania, when the family moved back to England, Rupert discussed the impact on Wednesday.

He mentioned during an appearance on “The Tonight Show” that she’s finding it tough to adapt to British life, as she spent the majority of her time in America and misses certain cultural aspects. However, she has a soft spot for Philadelphia; she adores hoagies, water ice treats, and is particularly fond of Target. In fact, she’s quite smitten with the store.

He continued, “She’d choose that over going to the park, the zoo.”

Daniel Radcliffe, famously known for playing Harry Potter, is deeply appreciative of the groundbreaking role that catapulted him to stardom. Yet, he’s been diligently working on shedding his child-star image, starting with his bold Broadway debut in Equus back in 2007. This was followed by a more cheerful performance in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in 2011. Since then, he’s balanced his career between theater and film. Notable roles include those in The Cripple of Inishmaan, Rosencrantz and Gildenstern Are Dead , and his Tony-winning performance in Merrily We Roll Along. On the big screen, he’s appeared in films like The Woman in Black, Victor Frankenstein, Swiss Army Man.

Radcliffe isn’t shy of dark humor, as seen in his TV roles such as a morphine-addicted physician in A Young Doctor’s Notebook or a low-level angel trying to prevent God from ending the world in Miracle Workers. He also starred alongside Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum in the 2022 rom-com The Lost City, portrayed musician “Weird Al” Yankovic in the biographical parody film Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, and lent his voice to the animated series Mulligan.

Radcliffe has been in a relationship with actress Erin Darke since their 2013 meeting on the set of Kill Your Darlings, where he played poet Alan Ginsberg. Together, they welcomed a son in April 2023.

The young woman who was born in Paris and raised in Oxfordshire had only a handful of school plays under her belt when she landed the role as Hermione Granger, marking her debut in professional acting. Following the completion of seven films, Watson balanced her time between studying English literature at Brown University (graduating in 2014) and appearing in independent movies like “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” and “The Bling Ring.”

Later on, she appeared as Belle in the 2017 live-action adaptation of “Beauty and the Beast” and as Meg March in the 2019 version of “Little Women.” However, Watson decided to take a break from acting. Though she admittedly felt apprehensive about this decision, she believed it was the right choice for her.

In an interview with British Vogue in 2023, she expressed gratitude for stepping away: “I’m so glad that I did [step away from acting] because I have this feeling of having my own voice and creative space and sovereignty in some way that I don’t think I had before – more autonomy. I wouldn’t trade the uncertainty I experienced for anything.”

After taking a break, Watson returned to school by enrolling in a creative writing program at Oxford. She also teamed up with her brother Alex Watson to launch a gin brand called Renais and directed a few commercials.

Over the years, she has modeled for brands such as Burberry and Lancôme and been an advocate for gender equality.

It seemed as if the girl with red hair from Essex emerged spontaneously to embody Harry’s closest friend, Ron Weasley. Later on, Grint starred in British productions such as “The ABC Murders,” inspired by Agatha Christie’s mystery, and the dark comedy “Sick Note,” playing an ordinary man whose life improves after receiving a false cancer diagnosis but continues to pretend he is still ill.

Grint also earned roles in the film “CBGB” about the renowned punk-rock club in New York, the French comedy “Moonwalkers,” M. Night Shyamalan’s supernatural mystery series “Servant,” and Shyamalan’s horror movie “Knock at the Cabin.”

However, it took him some time to adapt to life following years of playing Ron. As Grint shared with Radio Times in 2018, “After Potter, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do. I had this feeling that I had missed out on normal things. I lost touch with many of my school friends. I wanted a bit of a life again, so I took a break. I’ve never been overly ambitious. There has always been something in me, especially after finishing Potter, that wants to prove myself, but I am also naturally quite an insecure person.”

Whatever he decided to do paid off. According to Shyamalan on EW.com, “He came in and auditioned, and I just saw a different person. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen this kind of transformation from child actor to adult actor in my life—it’s incredible.”

In May 2020, Grint and his long-term partner Georgia Groome welcomed their daughter Wednesday G. Grint.

It’s clear that the individual once known for playing the shy character Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter series has garnered significant attention due to his mature good looks. The news of Lewis’ adult charm has spread far and wide.

Matthew Lewis, known for his work on British stages and screens, has been part of productions such as the BBC One miniseries “The Syndicate“, the emotional drama “Me Before You” from 2016, and the 2018 thriller “Terminal” alongside Margot Robbie. In 2015, he expressed his delight playing a soldier in the BBC Three dramedy “Bluestone 42“, which follows a bomb disposal squad in Afghanistan.

He described his experience on “Harry Potter” as “amazing and unique”, but admitted that he has never been as invested in or proud of a project as he was with “Bluestone 42“, stating that it was more enjoyable than any other role he’s played as an actor.

Other roles include appearances in “Avoidance“, “All Creatures Great & Small“, “Baby Done” and “Ripper Street“.

Lewis is a private individual, but it’s public knowledge that he married Angela Jones in 2018. The couple visited the Wizarding World of Harry Potter World, where they first met, in October 2019.

In reality, the villainous character Draco Malfoy, known for his platinum hair, harbored a kind heart. During the summer of 2011, he was featured in the movie “Rise of the Planet of the Apes,” but since then has taken on roles with less reliance on CGI, such as period dramas like “Belle” and “A United Kingdom.”

Fans were left astounded when Felton stepped into the role of Julian “Dr. Alchemy” Albert on The CW’s “The Flash” in 2016. He has also appeared in other projects, including sci-fi series “Origin,” as well as films like “Ophelia,” “Braking for Whales,” “Burial,” and “Some Other Woman.”

Moreover, Felton is a talented singer-songwriter who has released several EPs throughout his career.

In terms of his private affairs, the actor was romantically involved with Jade Olivia Gordon, who portrays Astoria Malfoy, Draco’s future wife in flash-forwards, for seven years prior to their separation in 2016. Since then, he has been in a relationship with Roxanne Danya.

In his 2022 memoir titled “Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard”, Felton discussed his challenges with young stardom and past substance use, and clarified certain aspects of his relationship with Watson.

He confessed, “I’ve harbored a secret affection for Emma, perhaps not in the conventional sense people might imagine. Yet, there was indeed a connection between us that ignited occasionally, though at varying points in time. However, this bond did not blossom into romantic love.”

Still, they cherish each other as friends. Felton clarified, “I never experienced romantic love for Emma, but I felt an affection and appreciation for her as an individual that I find hard to articulate to anyone else.

1. As a young girl of just 10, the actress embarked on her journey portraying Ginny Weasley, transitioning from “Ron’s little sister” to Harry Potter’s romantic interest throughout the film series.

2. Bonnie Wright, an alumna of London College of Communication, established her own production company, BonBonLumière, in 2012. In addition to acting in films like “After the Dark” and “Who Killed Nelson Nutmeg?”, she has also written and directed her own short films, including “Separate We Come, Separate We Go,” featuring David Thewlis (Remus Lupin); “Know Thyself,” with Christian Coulson, who played Tom Riddle; and “Medusa’s Ankles,” which starred Jason Isaacs, known for his role as Lucius Malfoy.

3. However, it appears that she has shifted her focus away from acting (her latest film being 2018’s “A Christmas Carol”), and instead, has ventured into other professional avenues by publishing her book, “Go Gently,” in 2021, which provided readers with guidance on participating in the climate movement.

In the year 2019, Wright participated in a reunion with Watson, Felton, Lewis, and Evanna Lynch, which someone thoughtfully captured on camera. “Time turning,” wrote Wright alongside the image, symbolizing this sentiment with a lightning bolt.

Previously, she was involved with Jamie Campbell Bower, famously known for his role as young Gellert Grindelwald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, but they ended their relationship in 2012. Later, she dated Simon Hammerstein for a number of years before finding her heart with Andrew Lococo in 2020. The two tied the knot in March 2022 and welcomed their son Elio into the world in September 2023.

Fred and George Weasley, known for their unique personalities and as Hogwarts’ master pranksters, were portrayed by actual twin actors in the Harry Potter series (with Oliver being 13 minutes older). They continued to play twins in other films such as “Our Own Worst Enemy” and “Last Night in Soho”. Interestingly, James has also acted independently in movies like “Patchwork” and “Cadia: The World Within”. Aside from their on-screen appearances, the brothers hosted a podcast titled “Normal Not Normal” and participated in the cooking competition series “Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking”.

Oliver married Katie Humpage in 2015, and they have two daughters together. On the other hand, James tied the knot with Annika Ostle the following year.

Originally a member of the Hogwarts student cast portraying Dean Thomas from Gryffindor, this British actor then embarked on a significant theater career in England and made appearances in shows like Broadchurch and Sherlock. Subsequently, he acted in four seasons of How to Get Away With Murder where his character was the well-meaning but fatefully morally ambiguous law student Wes. In the series’ surprising final season of 2020, he returned for a cameo as—SPOILER WARNING—Wes’ own son. More recently, he has been seen in Foundation, The Couple Next Door, and Miss Austen. Additionally, this versatile actor is an alumnus of The Queen’s College, Oxford.

Despite Chris Columbus initially seeking a teenager to portray the 16-year-old Tom Riddle in “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets”, it was the 23-year-old actor Coulson who ultimately secured the role. Later on, he went on to acquire various film and television roles, including Damien George on “Nashville”, Sebastian in the award-winning series “Mozart in the Jungle”, Benjamin on “High Fidelity” and Peter in “Blood Brothers: Civil War”.

Katie Leung overcame approximately 3,000 other contenders to portray Cho Chang in Harry Potter’s Goblet of Fire era. However, she has spoken out about the backlash she encountered online following her casting announcement.

“At one point, I found myself Googling myself and came across a website dedicated to Harry Potter fandom,” Leung recalled on the Chinese Chippy Girl podcast in 2021. “I read all the comments, which were predominantly racist remarks.” She also mentioned that someone had created a hate site where people could express their dissatisfaction with her casting, and the number of disagreements would be displayed.

“It’s awful,” she said. “It’s so awful.”

After Harry Potter, Katie Leung pursued theater and television roles in the UK, appearing in White Dragon, Chimerica, The Nest, and Arcane (voicing Caitlyn). Her other credits include Nightsleeper, Annika, Chemistry of Death, The Peripheral, and The Foreigner.

In a December 2022 Instagram post, Leung announced the birth of her first child, a son named Wolf.

Wow, whatever became of the actor who portrayed the tragic hero, Cedric Diggory, in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”…?

Ah, I see: Robert Pattinson secured the lead role in another popular young adult series, the widely acclaimed “_The Twilight Saga_,” and portrayed the enigmatic vampire Edward Cullen across five movies. During this time, he also dated his co-star, Kristen Stewart.

After that, he has shone brightly in the acting world, delivering tough performances in indie films such as “Maps to the Stars”, “Cosmopolis”, “The Rover”, “Good Time” and “The Lighthouse”. However, he switched gears back to big-budget blockbusters by assuming the famous cape and scowl as the main character in 2022’s “The Batman”, the DC superhero.

Previously, Robert Pattinson was betrothed to FKA twigs, but since 2018, he has been in a relationship with model and actress Suki Waterhouse. In December 2023, they got engaged and by March 2024, they had their first child together.

Fleur Delacour, the tall and elegant character from Beauxbatons Academy in France, who was selected to represent her school in the Triwizard Tournament, later got married to Bill Weasley, Ron’s trendy older brother.

Since then, Poésy has maintained a consistent career in film and television, featuring in shows like “Gossip Girl,” the dark comedy “In Bruges,” the crime series “The Tunnel” both in English and French versions, and “Genius: Picasso” on National Geographic Channel.

Additionally, she took on roles opposite her former Triwizard Tournament opponent, Robert Pattinson, in “Tenant,” as well as in “The Essex Serpent” and “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.”

After becoming a mother for the first time in 2017, Poésy shared insights about how this new role transformed her.

She shared with The Guardian that her thoughts today have brought her a deeper connection to women throughout history. The medical process of pregnancy and childbirth, which is often clinical, makes one reflect deeply. This experience has only served to increase her respect and admiration for women.

In the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie, the actress shone brilliantly as the eccentric yet valiant Luna Lovegood; however, she openly confessed that finding acting roles became challenging following her involvement in the legendary Harry Potter series.

In 2019, Lynch expressed that it felt strange receiving so much fan mail and attention, but found in reality, this wasn’t reflected. It was difficult for her, as she had grown accustomed to the validation of being part of a major film series where everything she did was admired and praised. However, she has continued to appear in projects such as “Bus Girl” and “My Freaky Family”.

Ever since adopting a vegan lifestyle back in 2015, I’ve been on a mission to make the world a kinder place. This passion led me to establish Kinder Beauty Box, an ethical and animal-friendly beauty line, in 2018. Sharing this journey is something I cherish, and I do so alongside Dr. Melanie Joy as co-host of our podcast, Just Beings. My dance moves also made it to the third place on Dancing With the Stars in 2018. And most recently, I’ve spread my message even further through my debut book, The Opposite of Butterfly Hunting, published in 2021.

As a lifestyle expert, I can share my personal experience of maintaining strong bonds with some of my Harry Potter co-stars, specifically Katie Leung and Scarlett Byrne (Pansy Parkington). Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of reconnecting with many of my former castmates at various conventions. It’s been fascinating to observe how our relationships have deepened since the films.

In my opinion, we’ve all grown closer because, as time passes and we mature into adults, it becomes easier to connect on a more profound level. For instance, I recently spent some quality time with James and Oliver Phelps (the twins) this past weekend, something that might not have happened much during the filming days due to our age difference. However, now that we’re all grown-ups, those differences seem less significant.

Since his days at Slytherin, Draco Malfoy’s associate Goyle has cleaned up his image and ventured into acting, appearing in the British crime drama “Marcella” alongside Anna Friel, the 2018 Robin Hood remake, the crime miniseries “Murder at White House Farm”, the spy drama “Alex Rider”, Disney+ series “Andor”, and the movie “No Way Home”. Apart from acting, he also started his MMA career in 2016. In 2023, it was announced that Goyle married Jessica Herdman, and they have two children together.

In the Harry Potter series, much like other bullies such as Dudley Dursley, appeared to be unkind characters on screen. However, behind the scenes, it was revealed that Melling underwent a physical transformation during the franchise, becoming so fit that there were discussions about recasting him before ‘Deathly Hallows Part 1’. To maintain his role as Harry’s overweight, pampered cousin, Melling opted to wear prosthetics.

Following this, Melling has continued to work steadily in both theater and film, with roles in movies like ‘The Lost City of Z’, TV series such as ‘His Dark Materials’, and collaborations with directors like Joel Coen on ‘The Tragedy of Macbeth’. He also played a part in the Netflix series ‘The Queen’s Gambit’ and shared screen time with Charlize Theron in ‘The Old Guard’, a streaming production.

Melling further teamed up with Joel Coen again to play Malcolm in Coen’s adaptation of ‘The Tragedy of Macbeth’. This film starred Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand as the ruthlessly ambitious main characters. Additionally, Melling appeared as Harry Beltik in ‘The Queen’s Gambit’ on Netflix and acted alongside Charlize Theron in ‘The Old Guard’, another Netflix production.

Other notable credits include ‘Wolf Hall’, ‘Harvest’, ‘Shoshana’, and ‘The Pale Blue Eye’.
