Rusty Rabbit launches April 17

The side-scrolling action-adventure game titled Rusty Rabbit is set to debut on April 17 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam at a price of $19.99. This announcement was made by both NetEase Games (the publisher) and NITRO PLUS (the developer). Pre-orders from the PlayStation Store will grant early access to the game starting April 14, three days prior to the official launch. A demo for the game will be accessible starting February 21.

In Japan and across Asia, you can also purchase a hardcopy version of “Rusty Rabbit” for the Nintendo Switch at a price of 3,278 yen.

In a surprising turn of events, as Earth plunged into another ice age, humans chose to leave their planet behind. Eventually, the ones who rose to power and ruled the world… were rabbits?!

After humanity left, the rabbits referred to humans as “giants” and revered the massive ruins left behind as “Smokestack Mountain.” Those fearless enough to violate and excavate this sacred site are known as “rust diggers.” The protagonist, an old rabbit named Stamp, is one such rust digger, making a daily routine of excavating Smokestack Mountain.

One day, after returning from an expedition to Smokestack Mountain, Stamp unexpectedly meets a group of miners, called the “BBs,” who dig for rust. Intrigued, he decides to accompany them on their mission to penetrate deeper into the core of Smokestack Mountain.

On my journey, I stumbled upon mysterious data relics known as “D-TAMs” concealed within the remnants of long-lost civilizations. Among these, I found a record that seemed to be linked to my estranged daughter, hinting at her plight and unveiling hidden secrets about the world I once held dear.

Pursuing answers to numerous puzzles and tracking his daughter’s path, Stamp ventures deeper into the remains of ancient structures…
