Ryan Edwards is growing his family—with his son’s blessing.
After the star of “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter” revealed his engagement to Amanda Conner, fans got a glimpse of him earning approval from Bentley, his son with ex Maci Bookout, as well as Brandon, Amanda’s 12-year-old son, prior to the proposal.
In the April 24th episode of the Teen Mom spinoff, Ryan expressed to Brandon, “I needed everyone here because I wanted to ask: Is it alright with everyone if I propose to your mom? And, Bentley, would that be okay too?
Once both boys agreed with his decision, the 37-year-old, who is a father to 2-month-old daughter Presley with Amanda and also shares children Jagger (10) and Stella (5) with ex Mackenzie Standifer, revealed additional insights about his future plans.
“I’m going to ask her tonight,” he explained. “So, I’m going to get down on one knee.”
He went on to say, ‘Amanda possesses the ring.’ I purchased the ring quite some time back and carried it home with the intention of showing it to her. Eventually, she picked it up.
Because Amanda had the ring on, the mechanic got creative and bought a hose clamp, typically used for securing hoses on cars, from an auto supply store instead. Although the choice of accessory might have seemed unusual, Bentley was certainly impressed by his quick thinking.
As the 16-year-old observed, “That makes sense because you both like cars.”
In January, Ryan knelt down next to a fire pit in their backyard, which was covered in snow, with Bentley and Brandon by his side.
Three months following the reality star’s announcement about Amanda’s pregnancy, he proposed. They explained that the birth of Presley in February symbolized a fresh start for their family after Ryan’s drug overdose in April 2023, with Amanda continuing her path to sobriety.
In a statement to People, the couple expressed their joy after the birth, saying, “Through tireless effort, we’ve strived to achieve our aspirations and establish a fresh start with all our kids. We eagerly anticipate becoming a vibrant, content family and are profoundly grateful for the outpouring of love and encouragement we’ve received.
In truth, Amanda confided to the media in October that she and Ryan were “happily settled and secure.
She expressed, “I find joy in this pregnancy and I’m given another opportunity at motherhood. As for Ryan, he finds himself in a position he hasn’t been in for quite some time. We are eager to progress beyond our past errors. With our loved ones by our side, we have a robust support system, and they are elated for this fresh start in our lives.

In 2009, viewers witnessed Catelynn Lowell and her now-spouse Tyler Baltierra grapple with a challenging decision – the adoption of their firstborn daughter, Carly. This heartfelt story unfolded during the premiere season of 16 and Pregnant. After 13 years as a couple, they tied the knot in August 2015 and have since welcomed three more daughters: Novalee, Vaeda, and Rya.
Despite the lingering sorrow of their daughter Carly being absent, Brandon and Teresa Davis continue to strive for a brighter tomorrow.
In an interview with TopMob News in January 2025, Catelynn expressed that their bond “is whatever she desires.” She further explained, “Whether she wishes to maintain a relationship with her biological siblings, or with us, that’s great. If she prefers not to, we completely understand. We want it to be all about her and what feels right for her, because it should be centered around the adoptee’s needs.
In just under half a year together, Maci Bookout faced challenges with an unreliable Ryan Edwards on the show 16 and Pregnant. Despite getting engaged, this long-time sweetheart couple separated less than a year after their son Bentley was born in 2008.
Currently, they are working towards establishing a harmonious co-parenting bond. In an interview with TopMob News back in 2023, Maci disclosed that Ryan has been more reliable and regular in his presence than perhaps he ever was previously.
In 2012, Maci discovered her long-term teammate, Taylor McKinney from Texas. The duo started expanding their group shortly thereafter. They were blessed with a daughter named Jayde in May 2015 and a son named Maverick the following year. Their wedding took place in Florida in October of the same year.
In 2023, TopMob News interviewed a woman who described her partner as her life companion, shared parenting responsibilities with, and business partner in their TTM Lifestyle fashion brand. She stated, “He’s simply my preferred one.” When reflecting on challenging times they’ve faced together, she expressed, “Despite the rough patches we’ve encountered, I still value him at the end of the day. I appreciate him. And even when I feel like punching him occasionally, it’s better for me to argue with him or experience difficult moments with him than never have a challenging time with anyone else.
Regardless of having different partners now, the MTV celebrities, who bonded during The Challenge production, remain joint parents for their child named Ryder.
From the very start of Cory being part of Ryder’s life, Cheyenne made it clear that what mattered most was not just how Cory wanted to be a dad, but also a parent. She didn’t want him to be a father who only showed up at fun times or for social media. Instead, she expected him to commit fully. It seems that from the beginning, Cory understood and respected her mindset, which is why they have such a successful co-parenting relationship.
Following the end of their relationship in 2018, they chose to rekindle things. During her 28th birthday festivities, Cheyenne announced on Instagram that she was back with Zach. In May 2021, they were blessed with their first child, a son named Ace. They tied the knot in September 2022.
In the last two years, I’ve been checking items off my list, and here I am, sharing my journey with TopMob News in 2024. The dreams I harbored were not just wishes; they became reality. I longed to start a family, and now I have Ace. I yearned for the commitment of marriage, and we had our beautiful wedding. Lastly, I dreamt of owning a home, and today, that dream is realized as we proudly call our house ours.
She added, “I have no desire for action or setting new goals right now. What I truly wish for is peace and tranquility, a state of being still. My aim is simply to find contentment in our current situation, and to appreciate each other more deeply. That’s all I long for.
Shooting for the reality show ‘Ex on the Beach’ might not seem like a romantic beginning, but fast forward several years and two children – daughters named Mila and Maya – later, Cory and former ‘Are You the One?’ contestant Taylor Selfridge are still leaving an impact in their relationship.
In 2023, he told TopMob News that they had recently purchased a new home. He also acknowledged the curiosity of many about their wedding plans. “We are indeed discussing it,” he said, explaining that although the ring has not yet been chosen and he hasn’t proposed to her yet, Taylor is eagerly awaiting this special moment. Both of them look forward to taking the next step in their relationship.
After marrying Mackenzie Standifer in May 2017, Ryan sought help at a rehab facility, and it was during this time that they welcomed their first child, Jagger, into the world in 2018.
Despite welcoming daughter Stella in January 2020, Mackenzie filed for divorce three years afterward. Now, Ryan is betrothed to Amanda Conner, who is anticipating their first child together.
Despite their highly controversial relationship ending permanently in 2013, they’ve been successfully sharing parenting responsibilities of their now-adolescent daughter Leah ever since.
In an interview with TopMob News in January 2022, Amber shared that although they enjoy each other’s company from afar, their bond has grown stronger. She further explained, “Our relationship is thriving. It feels like a family now, so we prioritize and care for it as one would for their own family.
It’s worth noting that families can have disagreements, but it appears from her social media posts in recent times that Amber and Gary may not be getting along as well post-breakup.
Following numerous years as a couple, an offer of marriage and a brief period on the reality show “Marriage Boot Camp,” Amber and Matt Baier, who moved from Boston, ended their engagement in 2017.
On Dr. Drew Pinsky’s podcast, Amber admitted, “Eventually, there comes a time when you tire of listening and you simply stop caring in a relationship. And that’s what seemed to happen between us. I built a wall around myself to avoid getting hurt again.
Amber developed romantic feelings for Andrew Glennon during the filming of “Marriage Boot Camp”, and the two became a couple. They first appeared together at the 2017 MTV Movie Awards, and in May 2018, they welcomed their first child, James.
However, the pair parted ways shortly following Amber’s arrest for domestic battery in July 2019. Subsequently, after a lengthy and challenging court case, it was determined that California-born Andrew gained sole legal and primary physical custody of their son in 2022.
The “Teen Mom” celebrity expressed to TopMob News that they’ve put in a lot of effort to grow personally and strengthen their bonds with their children. They emphasized that despite openly discussing their past drug issues and mental health struggles, everyone deserves an opportunity for redemption, not being perpetually defined by past problems.
Persisting through challenges, she expressed, “Even if your path hasn’t always been smooth, yet you’ve striven to improve, grow, and become a stronger, kinder person today, continue onward as I do. Know that I will never cease to advocate for my cherished children.
Following an online encounter with Amber, Dimitri Garcia first appeared on the reality TV show “Teen Mom OG” in April 2020. As Amber disclosed on the program, “Dimitri is from Belgium and he’s 39 years old, which makes him 10 years older than me, but he’s quite attractive.” She continued, “I gradually opened up to him, and we both felt it was a good idea to meet since we liked each other.
In April 2021, on the special reunion episode of “Teen Mom OG”, Amber disclosed that she was still in a relationship with Dimitri. She stated, “We’ve been acquainted for about 18 months, but I haven’t seen him for a year.” Despite not making an official breakup announcement, Amber introduced her new love interest, Gary Wayt, during a June 2024 episode of “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter”.
After Amber linked up with Gary 2.0 via a dating app in autumn of 2023, he popped up in the screen as she presented him to her fellow cast members during a video call on that occasion (Teen Mom alum).
Despite his proposal in May 2024, their relationship didn’t last long. During his visit to North Carolina for Amber’s brother’s wedding in June, they had an argument which led Gary to disappear. Consequently, Amber reported him as missing.
And while Gary was soon located, the duo’s engagment wasn’t the only thing left broken.
Amber shared, on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, that she had to confront the distressing belief that her fiancé was deceased for approximately three to four days. She spoke of the heartache and struggle she endured in attempting to comprehend such a cruel act against her, stating, “I’ve been dealing with grief and trying to understand why someone would do this to me. I am currently going through something difficult.
She went on to say, “This man shattered me; I had been steadfast. For the first time in years, I’m not holding myself together because a man proposed to me.
Several months passed following the arrival of their daughter Emilee in April 2015, and later on, Gary and Kristina Anderson decided to formalize their union in a charming seaside wedding ceremony.
In a 2022 Instagram post, Gary expressed, “Your soul is one of the most radiant ones I’ve encountered. I can’t imagine going through life without your presence.
In December 2008, two months before Sophia’s birth, the man who was Farrah Abraham’s daughter’s father tragically passed away in an accident.
In a significant change following the demise of her high school sweetheart, Farrah had an on-again, off-again romance with Simon Saran, a real estate agent, that spanned more than two years.
Despite their 2017 fallout becoming quite contentious, they both made an effort to maintain some form of friendship, albeit somewhat strained.
In response to TopMob News, Simon stated that he holds no grudges against Farrah. He explained they come from distinct backgrounds, with Farrah preferring a manufactured lifestyle while he seeks authenticity. Despite their differences, he wishes her nothing but prosperity and success in all her future pursuits.
Jenelle Evans and Andrew Lewis, who are the parents of now-adolescent Jace, parted ways shortly following his birth in 2009, with Jenelle maintaining minimal interaction in her son’s life thereafter.
In the year 2019, during an episode of ‘Teen Mom 2’, Jenelle pondered over her feelings about Jace’s father. Despite her sympathy for him being Jace’s dad, she acknowledged his character and didn’t want him to let down her son. She didn’t wish for him to reappear in their lives only to disappear again.
Following a one-year marriage with Courtland Rogers and the birth of her second child, Kaiser, from former partner Nathan Griffin in 2014, Jenelle tied the knot with David Eason on their property in North Carolina in September 2017, just eight months after they had their daughter Ensley.
After experiencing a difficult phase, David was accused of a minor child abuse offense concerning Jace. Jenelle described it as an attempt to discredit him (at the time, she compared it to a smear campaign). Subsequently, she disclosed that they had parted ways. She stated on social media that while she would have immediately filed for divorce, she couldn’t because in the state of North Carolina, a year of legal separation is required before filing, and you must also provide proof that you reside at two different addresses.
Recall the charming individual who inquired from his ex-girlfriend, Chelsea Houska, about when he could “finalize the documents regarding that error”?
Completely in the rearview.
Despite seemingly insurmountable odds, the reality TV star-turned-HGTV personality maintains a relatively peaceful coexistence with her high school ex, Adam Lind, who is Aubree’s father. “There’s no negativity present,” she shared with Us Weekly. “It’s an open relationship without any lingering ill feelings. Occasionally, we even catch up, and everything remains amicable.
In 2014, a chance encounter at a gas station marked the start of something special between Chelsea and Cole DeBoer. They officially tied the knot in October 2016, and their bond has been unbreakable ever since. Their family grew with the arrival of their son Watson in 2017, followed by daughters Layne in 2018 and Walker in 2021. Most recently, they embarked on a new venture together, creating their HGTV series called Down Home Fab.
In an interview with TopMob News, Chelsea expressed her enthusiasm about returning to television. She wanted the new project to be upbeat and enjoyable, allowing them to express their genuine personalities. As she put it, this seemed like a fantastic chance for exactly that.
Initially close friends who decided to get married as high schoolers Leah Messer and Corey Simms, the parents of twins Aleeah and Aliannah, separated just six months following their October 2010 wedding, choosing to file for divorce.
Corey has been married to Miranda Patterson since 2013.
In the year 2012, Leah tied the knot with Jeremy Calvert, and a year later they were blessed with a daughter named Adalynn.
Even though they separated back in 2015, they have put forth an effort to co-parent their daughter, with outcomes that can sometimes be challenging. Leah shared her feelings with TopMob News, saying, “I feel like I’m seeing the best version of myself. It’s amazing to witness all the things they adore and appreciate, and being there for them as they navigate life is nothing short of magical. Being a mom, particularly a mother to girls, is something I cherish deeply.
By the year 2021, when Leah made their relationship Instagram official with Jaylan Mobley, this U.S. Army officer had already won over not only Leah but also her children as well.
The couple announced their engagement in August 2022, but broke up that October.
A year after her split, the ‘Teen Mom’ star admitted to TopMob News that she truly needed it. She’s since gained valuable insights from her past relationship, and as she moves on, she feels like a new chapter in her life is unfolding.
Kailyn Lowry had her first child, Isaac, with her high school sweetheart Jo Rivera when she was only 17 years old back in 2010.
Despite parting ways a year later, they’ve now established a harmonious coparenting relationship. Interestingly, Kailyn co-hosted her former podcast, Baby Mamas No Drama, with Vee Torres, Jo’s spouse. On some platform X, Kailyn penned, “We’ve traveled quite a distance since we were 18 years old. I couldn’t hope for a better stepmother for Isaac.
In November 2013, Kailyn’s second son, Lincoln, became part of the team. This was approximately a year after Kailyn, who was then a prominent figure on Teen Mom 2, tied the knot with her son’s father, Javi Marroquin.
In late 2016, their relationship has had its ups and downs, with Javi and his fiancée Lauren Comeau (who already have a son named Eli) announcing in December 2023 that they are expecting their second child together, a girl.
Despite having sons Lux and Creed together with partner Chris Lopez during their tumultuous relationship, Kailyn ultimately decided to end things permanently.
In 2020, I shared with TopMob News that we weren’t interacting at the moment. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that things will improve over time, but I don’t have any grand plans. I choose to remain positive and refrain from expressing anything negative. I can only hope for the best for our children, that things resolve themselves in whatever way they may.
Kailyn is content in her relationship with Elijah Scott, as she believes they provide a solid base for each other. She explained to People that Elijah, father of her son Rio and twins Verse and Valley, stands out from her previous partners and the children’s fathers. “He’s not like anyone I’ve been with before,” she said. “He works hard in his construction job, but he’s also deeply committed to family life. He has strong connections with both his own family and ours, which makes him an excellent partner for me. I feel that we are a good match.
A strong enough one that she finally said yes to one of his many proposals, in fact.
In an interview with TopMob News in September 2024, Kailyn made it clear that her longtime neighbor and eventual life partner had proposed marriage multiple times. However, she didn’t say “no.” Instead, she responded, “Yes, but not just yet.
Although she admitted that the construction worker had certainly influenced her thoughts about marriage, she’s not exactly in a hurry to purchase a white wedding dress, quipped Kailyn. She added humorously, “Whether or not we get married soon depends on the day you ask me!
Despite experiencing numerous highs and lows since the birth of their daughter Kloie in 2017, Indiana residents Jade Cline and Sean Austin hinted at a positive turn in their lives to their followers in January 2022.
She shared with TopMob News that significant changes occurred in our lives, as well as notable advancements for Sean personally and his future. I am genuinely proud of him and our current situation. Eight months following this conversation, they declared their engagement, tying the knot in October 2023.
In 2024, Jade admitted to TopMob News that her relationship isn’t always flawless. However, she emphasized that they have a strong bond and manage to navigate through the challenges together.
Ashley Jones, a native of California, and Bar Smith tied the knot privately in 2021. Four years prior, they became parents to their daughter, Holly, marking the beginning of their beautiful family journey together.
But after calling off their romance several times, Ashley officially filed for divorce in 2024.
A while after “16 and Pregnant” star Briana DeJesus and Devoin Austin II became parents to their child Nova in 2011, there were signs that they might rekindle their relationship.
Currently, Briana shared with TopMob News in 2024, “What I desire now is a genuine adult male, rather than the young men I’ve been accustomed to dating in the past.
Following her appearance on the solitary season of “Teen Mom 3”, Briana became part of the cast for “Teen Mom 2” in its eighth series, and welcomed her second daughter, Stella, with ex-partner Luis Miguel, on July 2017.
After that point, Luis’ participation has been minimal at most. In a December 2019 episode of Teen Mom 2, Briana expressed this to Dr. Drew: “I believe he desires a family with me,” she said, “but since I’m not providing that, he just wants to distance himself completely.
