Ryan Murphy's Grotesquerie Gets Full Trailer

As a gamer with an eye for dark narratives and a soft spot for riveting mysteries, I must say that the upcoming FX series, Grotesquerie, has definitely piqued my interest. The trailer, filled with chilling atmospheres and suspenseful plotlines, promises to deliver a gripping tale that I can’t wait to dive into.

Many people consider September as the beginning of the eerie period, and FX is initiating this spooky mood with the first complete trailer for Ryan Murphy’s upcoming horror series titled Grotesquerie. On Wednesday, FX unveiled the trailer for this eagerly awaited show, starring Niecy Nash-Betts and Courtney B. Vance. This sneak peek not only offers viewers a glimpse into the spine-tingling new series but also introduces NFL player Travis Kelce’s acting debut – Kelce makes a brief appearance in the trailer and even introduces it before the footage plunges viewers into a mysterious, dark, and hellish storyline. You can watch the trailer yourself by clicking on the video below

Detective Lois Lois Tryon, Nash-Betts, Lois-Lois Tryon Tryon, mentions, states in the demon is a person familiar, “Something unsett disappointment: at length that something wicked was left behind some horrally for us. He’s an expert on human anatomy and has been involved in some grisly crimes. The remnants of blood and DNA were left for discovery.” In a nutshell, it’s like leaving the keys to a candy store with the devil

In the small town of Grotesquerie, a series of chilling crimes have shaken the community, and Detective Lois Tryon senses an unsettling personal connection as if someone – or something – is mocking her. At home, Lois struggles with a strained relationship with her daughter, a husband in long-term care, and her own inner turmoil. With no leads and uncertain about where to seek help, she accepts the assistance of Sister Megan, a nun and journalist from the Catholic Guardian. Despite her challenging past, Sister Megan still holds faith in humanity’s potential for good. Lois, however, harbors fears about the world succumbing to evil. As they gather clues, Lois and Sister Megan find themselves entangled in a dark web that only raises more mysteries than solutions

The upcoming FX series, consisting of 10 episodes, is set to premiere on September 25th. It features Courtney B. Vance as Marshall Tryon, Lesley Manville portraying Nurse Redd, Nicholas Alexander Chavez as Father Charlie, and Raven Goodwin playing Merrit Tryon. Additionally, Kelce is part of the series, although specifics about his role have been kept secret. Kelce himself has hinted that it’s a significant character and one he aims to perform well

Earlier this year, Kelce expressed being taken aback and somewhat surprised when he learned that the person was willing to offer him such a significant role on the show, as it is a major part. He seemed confident in his abilities during their initial conversation, which helped instill the same confidence in him. Therefore, he hopes he doesn’t disappoint this individual

I had the pleasure of being a part of the creation of “Grotesquerie”, a project by Murphy, Jon Robin Baitz, and Joe Baken. In this exciting journey, Max Winkler, Alexis Martin Woodall, Elegance Bratton, and myself (Murphy) directed various episodes across the 10-episode season

Grotesquerie debuts Wednesday, September 25th on FX.
