S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl Details New and Returning Artifacts

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I’ve weathered countless storms, traversed treacherous terrains, and faced formidable foes in digital realms. The announcement of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has sent a thrill through the very core of my gaming spirit.

The highly anticipated sequel to the sandbox survival shooter series, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, is finally on its way after several postponements. This game promises to be a worthy successor and continues the franchise’s legacy. Artifacts have always played a significant role in the games, offering beneficial effects when utilized. In a recent update on Steam Community, GSC Game World has shared some familiar elements returning from past games, such as Mama’s Beads, Kolobok, and The Soul.

The initial one appears to be resistant to bleeding.

Two additional items, Stone Heart Artifact and Magic Cube Artifact, have been added. The Stone Heart item increases your ability to pick up and transport larger quantities of “valuable debris,” whereas the Magic Cube can reduce the impact of “surrounding explosive shockwaves.

Indeed, Artifacts serve a similar purpose as items such as weapons, first aid kits, food, and various other supplies. They provide an opportunity for you to trade them on the Black Market. Given the perilous and erratic nature of the Zone, it might be wise to keep them handy in case of emergency situations.

The highly anticipated video game, “S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl,” is set to debut on November 20th, available on both Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms. For additional details, be sure to explore our special feature.
