Sabretooth Battles a Mysterious New Character With Ties to a Marvel Netflix Hero

As a seasoned gamer with decades of comic book adventures under my belt, I can’t help but feel a mix of anticipation and nostalgia upon hearing about Sabretooth: The Dead Don’t Talk. The prospect of delving into the violent history of Wolverine’s arch-nemesis in the gritty underworld of 1900s New York City is tantalizing, to say the least.

In the upcoming comic book series “Sabretooth: The Dead Don’t Talk“, Sabretooth, Wolverine’s longtime adversary who was thought to be dead, will encounter a new, mysterious character despite his demise in “Sabretooth War”. This five-issue series takes us back to the 1900s, where we’ll see Sabretooth clashing with the criminal underworld of New York City. But that’s not all; this story also introduces a fresh character connected to Iron Fist and the mystical city of K’un-Lun, offering fans an unusual setting for Wolverine and Sabretooth’s rivalry, as well as an exciting new element to the series.

In issue #3 of Sabretooth: The Dead Don’t Talk by Frank Tieri and Michael Sta. Maria (exclusively designed by ComicBook), you’ll encounter the fresh character, Dragonfire. This newcomer hails from Five Points, but originally comes from K’un-Lun – the same place where Danny Rand honed his skills and gained the Iron Fist powers. Dragonfire sports long, dark hair to complement her attire and wields a flaming sword, with a fiery red mask concealing her face.

Essentially, Frank Tieri described Sabretooth: The Dead Don’t Talk as being similar to “Gangs of New York” featuring Sabretooth. He explained that the story begins with Wolverine and as events unfold, we delve into what transpired alongside him. The narrative starts in a bar called Satan’s Circus, the oldest watering hole in New York City, where Logan is having a drink following Sabes’ funeral. As he peruses old photographs on the wall of Five Points gang members, he notices that Sabretooth is among them, which raises the question: “How can this be?” From here, we join Logan as he uncovers the secret, violent history of his arch-nemesis, along with a character named ‘Mad Dog’ Murphy, and we embark on an exciting adventure.
