In addition to this, Elliott has starred in various shows such as “The Ranch,” “Grace and Frankie,” “Justified,” and “Buffalo Girls.” His impressive acting career also includes an Oscar nomination for his role in “A Star Is Born” and a variety of film credits that include “Road House,” “Gettysburg,” “Ghost Rider,” and “The Big Lebowski.

The Second Season of Landman Is Coming to Paramount+

In the TV show, Michael Thorton portrays the character of Tommy Norris, who works as a landman for an oil company in West Texas. Demi Moore is cast as Cami Miller, a friend who owns the same oil company that Tommy eventually becomes president of by the start of Season 2. Thorton hints that this upcoming storyline for Tommy will result in more screen time for Demi Moore in Season 2.

In the upcoming season, as Thornton describes it, his character transitions from holding a challenging and perilous job into managing two roles. “Now, I’m essentially a business executive, landman, and family man amidst this whirlwind of events,” he explains. “It creates quite an intriguing plotline, I must admit.

He commented, “As [Moore’s character] isn’t very familiar with the oil industry, I’m there to guide her on their ways of working. You can understand something theoretically, but what about the practical street wisdom? I am well-versed in dealing with the people she will encounter.

The first season of Landman is streaming now on Paramount+.
