The action-packed, open-world multiplayer game called SAND is set to debut in Early Access on PC through Steam on April 3, according to the publishers tinyBuild and the development teams Hologryph and TowerHaus.
Here is an overview of the game, via tinyBuild:
About
The story SAND unfolds in a distinctly different timeline, a diesel-punk environment – the barren planet Sophie. Here, an ecological catastrophe has vaporized the oceans, leaving behind only humans and their colossal Trampler vehicles. These mechanical behemoths are designed to navigate the vast desert expanse of this ruined world. Individually or in groups, humanity now scavenges through Sophie’s expansive deserts, seeking buried treasures and defending them fiercely.
Players had a chance to sample the challenging landscape and intense gameplay that SAND offers, as a demo ranked among the top ten most-played in Steam Next Fest last year and an open playtest that drew over 200,000 testers. Early access will bring numerous improvements, along with ongoing development to ensure players remain engaged with Sophie.
