Sandra Bullock Warns Fans About Dangerous Scams Targeting Her Family

Sandra Bullock doesn’t want anyone to be swindled.

Actress from the movie Speed publicly spoke out about uncommon posts on social media platforms, aimed at tricking her followers and relatives, which she has recently encountered.

As a mother to Louis, aged 15, and Laila, 11, the wellbeing of my family, alongside the vulnerable individuals being exploited, weighs heavily on my heart. While I am reserving more detailed comments for a later time, our immediate priority is supporting law enforcement in addressing this issue effectively.

The individual, who is 60 years old, made it clear that they don’t engage in any social media platforms whatsoever. Any profiles claiming to be them or connected to them are false and were likely set up with the intention of profiting financially or taking advantage of others.

One day following Gesine Bullock-Prado’s posting about reporting phony accounts impersonating her on Facebook, Sandra made her statement.

Gesine frequently spends her day debunking fakes, handling bizarre and alarming emails to both her BUSINESS and HOME from men who think they have a connection with her sister via private messages on various platforms. Moreover, she’s been transferring (occasionally) large sums of MONEY – sometimes in the thousands – to a well-known and successful woman.” (Feb. 2, Gesine posted this on Instagram along with an image of the fake accounts.)

She mentioned that her account is the only one she has, and as everyone knows, it’s dedicated to topics like baking, cooking, animals, and gardening. To clarify, she’s a mature woman in midlife with a full life who doesn’t engage in online activities such as messaging people at 54 years old.

In the continuation of her discussion, Gesine brought up an instance where a woman in France was reportedly swindled out of a large sum of money by a fraudster who employed AI to trick her into believing she was in a relationship with Brad Pitt. However, Gesine ultimately urged her audience to report any suspicious accounts, expressing concern for the safety of her family.

She wrote, “Regardless of the risks to me and my earnings, it holds no significance.” Instead, if you encounter a false account, either by friendship or messaging, make sure to report and block it.

In her own words, Sandra – last seen in public at a Lakers game in December – clarified that she doesn’t possess any personal social media profiles. She has largely stayed away from the limelight since the unfortunate demise of her longtime partner Bryan Randall, who lost his battle with ALS in August 2023 after a three-year struggle.
