The dispute over Sanji has resurfaced following the unveiling of the new opening theme for the anime, as it omitted him from a group shot featuring all Straw Hats, and inserted a scene where he expresses infatuation towards Bonney, a character whose age-related revelations caused uproar. Fans of Sanji argue that this isn’t an isolated incident and believe the studio may be targeting the character. The conversation escalated to the point where one former director of the anime series explained the inner workings of production to clarify that such a scenario is not feasible.

Sanji’s Best Moments In Egghead Are Yet To Come

In the anime, it’s clear that Sanji shone in numerous memorable scenes, like his battle against Queen, shedding tears at Luffy’s plea, seeking Robin’s aid, and many others.
