Saoirse Ronan Marries Jack Lowden in Private Wedding Ceremony

I’ve been absolutely fascinated by the recent wave of celebrity weddings! It seems that amidst their bustling careers and public lives, these notable figures have found the time to commit to love and start new chapters in their personal lives.

Saoirse Ronan is officially off the market.

Saoirse Ronan, who received her fourth Oscar nod for portraying an unmarried character in “Little Women,” contradicted this trait by getting married to Jack Lowden in real life.

Based on the Scottish civil marriage records registry, Saoirse Una Ronan, aged 30, wed Jack Andrew Lowden, 34, at Edinburgh Central Registrar’s Office. The Independent newspaper, quoting the Irish Independent, states that this wedding took place during the weekend of July 20th.

In a small, private wedding attended by only their nearest and dearest, the couple exchanged vows, according to the report.

Towards the close of 2018, there were whispers abuzz regarding the relationship between Jack and Saoirse. This came about shortly following the premiere of their movie “Mary Queen of Scots,” where Saoirse portrayed the queen herself, and Jack took on the role of her tragic husband, Lord Darnley.

For a considerable period after working together in a film, Jack and Saoirse remained silent about their romantic relationship. However, in the ensuing years, they started showing up occasionally on each other’s social media posts.

In July 2023, Jack fueled speculation about their alleged relationship by posting a collection of photos from a hike at Ben Vrackie in the Scottish Highlands. One picture seemed to show Saoirse with a diamond ring on her finger.

As a lifestyle expert, I understand the importance of respecting traditions and maintaining composure in the face of rumors or speculations. In this scenario, neither Jack nor the Lady Bird actress felt the need to respond to the buzz that started to build up in the post’s comment section.

Although they’ve managed to keep their romantic relationship private, the actor from “Slow Horses” hasn’t been shy about expressing his admiration for his partner’s skills.

Jack, who worked on Saoirse’s film “The Outrun” with his longtime partner, expressed to i Newspaper last year that his deepest affection lies with actors. He continued by explaining, “When you’re fortunate enough to have a talent like hers, it’s essential to allow her to shine. You don’t want to limit her abilities by comparing them to a less capable performer. Good actors are rare and valuable, like gold dust. When you find someone exceptional, all you can do is support them, and the results will be remarkable. And we certainly did.”

Despite trying to keep their relationship private, they are mindful of the attention and curiosity it has generated.

I confessed that her and I didn’t find that situation strange. We’re deeply grateful for the attention we receive, but we don’t crave it. Others have it much harder. We understand that our current situation is largely self-inflicted. As long as we have each other, we can handle anything that comes our way.
