Sareee Defeats Giulia To Become First Ever Marigold World Champion

As a passionate fan of professional wrestling, I was absolutely thrilled to witness Sareee’s victory in the inaugural Marigold Women’s World Championship match against Giulia at the Summer Destiny event. The tension between these two talented wrestlers was palpable as they put on an incredible display of skill and determination inside the ring.

At the Summer Destiny event over the weekend, Marigold bestowed the inaugural Marigold Women’s World Championship title upon Sareee or Giulia in an exhilarating main event at Ryogoku Kokugikan. The venue was filled with eager fans who came to witness a star-studded lineup showcasing remarkable skill and talent. Notably, WWE sensation IYO SKY made her comeback to add fuel to the excitement. As history unfolded, Sareee and Giulia engaged in an epic battle for the coveted Marigold Women’s World Championship title, with Giulia expressing her impending departure from Marigold and encouraging fans to catch her matches in Japan before she leaves.

Following a grueling contest between Sareee and Giulia, an unfortunate incident occurred: Sareee targeted Giulia’s already injured wrist, leading to a lengthy absence from competition for the latter. Initially planned for her debut at NXT Heatwave, Giulia’s injury and prior engagements with Marigold prevented this from happening. Ultimately, Giulia was left with no choice but to yield, allowing Sareee to claim the championship title instead.

When Marigold was established, I made a commitment to stay with Rossy Ogawa and the team until our company took flight. Now that we’ve crowned our first champion, it’s time for my own future to undergo some changes. Over the WrestleMania weekend in Philadelphia, I was spotted taking pictures with WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque, fueling rumors among fans that I had secured a contract.

It was revealed in subsequent reports that she had indeed joined the NXT brand, and her debut was expected to occur fairly soon. WWE is actively pursuing international collaborations, such as their existing agreements with All Japan Pro Wrestling, Marigold, and Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan. At present, there are no scheduled Premium Live Events for NXT; however, they aim to introduce her on television as quickly as possible.

There have been unconfirmed reports of a potential event occurring in Cleveland over the SummerSlam weekend. However, an official announcement has yet to be made, and with SummerSlam only a few weeks away, it seems uncertain if this will transpire. The ex-champion of STARDOM boasts other professional endeavors, such as the upcoming release of her autobiography entitled “My Dream,” which is scheduled for publication abroad at the end of August.

Stay tuned to Comicbook for updates on Giulia, WWE, and Marigold.
