As an avid fan who has followed Savannah Chrisley‘s journey since her days on “Growing Up Chrisley,” I must say that her tribute to Nic Kerdiles on the first anniversary of his passing was heartwarming and deeply moving. It’s been a year, yet it feels like just yesterday when we heard the devastating news of his untimely demise.
Savannah Chrisley is keeping Nic Kerdiles’ memory alive.
The ex-cast member of “Growing Up Chrisley” recently honored the late hockey star on the one-year anniversary of his demise, by reposting her initial tribute lamenting Nick’s passing.
It’s hard for me to accept that it’s already been a year…,” she expressed in her September 23 Instagram Story, accompanied by a video showcasing moments with him. “I just can’t seem to fully accept it.
On the following slide appeared a picture of a stack of white roses and a photograph taken during Savannah and Nic’s engagement session, accompanied by a Bible quote. In her own handwriting, Savannah expressed gratitude for the signs that God sends her way.
During the time of the unfortunate accident, police communicated to local Nashville news station WKRN that Nic was cruising his motorcycle through a residential neighborhood when he failed to stop at a sign and collided with the driver’s side of an SUV. The former hockey player-turned real estate agent was subsequently taken to the hospital where he eventually succumbed to his injuries at the age of 29.
As one who shared his life from 2017 to 2020, I took pen to paper and expressed a heartfelt tribute to him on Instagram upon hearing the sad news of his passing.
Nicolas Henry Stephan Kerdiles… If only you could witness the multitude of people who adore you at this moment. Your smile, though absent in reality, is vividly etched in my mind. You’ve left an indelible impact on the world, and it seems so incomplete without your presence…” wrote the host of the Unlocked podcast, expressing his disbelief and grief at the loss of Kerdiles. He confessed that he was struggling to comprehend the news of his passing, and was overwhelmed with a deep sadness and a sense of numbness.
On a recent episode of my podcast, I paid tribute to Nic, who had passed away two weeks prior. This was my way of acknowledging and honoring him in the best way I knew how.
For six years, Nic and I were deeply intertwined in each other’s lives, we became engaged and created countless cherished moments together. Looking back, Nic left an indelible impression on my own existence and made a profound impact on the world as a whole. As I reminisce about our relationship, it seems that countless individuals have shared with me their personal stories of how deeply touched by Nic they were.
She went on to say, “If there’s any lesson in his departure, it’s the importance of loving deeply. Treat others with the same love and compassion he showed us. So, Nic, I want you to know I love you dearly, you will be greatly missed, and you’ve certainly left an impression.
