Scott Adams Reveals Battling Advanced Prostate Cancer and Facing a Painful Goodbye

Scott Adams is providing an update on his health.

Scott Adams, the creator of the popular comic strip “Dilbert”, disclosed that he’s been diagnosed with an advanced stage of prostate cancer, a health issue similar to what ex-President Joe Biden has been publicly fighting against.

During the May 19th broadcast of his Real Coffee With Scott Adams YouTube show, he stated that he is battling the same type of cancer as Joe Biden – specifically, advanced prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bone tissue.

The 67-year-old individual expressed his belief that he might have been dealing with the health issue for a period “significantly prior” to Biden, who recently disclosed his diagnosis. Furthermore, he suggested that his lifespan could potentially end by this coming summer.

Adams added, “The illness has become unbearable for me, I must say. Frankly, there are no good days for me. If anyone asks, ‘Scott, do you ever have good days?’ My answer would be a firm no. Every day feels like a nightmare and the night only makes it worse.

Indeed, dealing with the side effects proved challenging enough for him to halt production on his nightly show, entitled “Man Cave“.

As Adams explained, “A lot of it was because I don’t really function too well after the show.”

He went on to say, “I’m constantly experiencing discomfort, and this distress migrates to various areas of my body. For quite some time, I’ve had to rely on a walking aid, like a walker, to get around.

Despite the possibility that his cancer diagnosis might be unexpected for some viewers, Adams admitted that he has accepted his prognosis.

He explained, “I’ve recently understood this situation, so it is what it is.” He added, “As far as I understand, everyone eventually dies. It’s somewhat orderly that we know approximately how much time we have left so we can organize our affairs, bid farewell, and complete necessary tasks.

He commented, “If I were to choose a method of death, this one would be extremely agonizing – very, very intense. But there’s a silver lining, as it allows your mind to function long enough to tidy up affairs before the end.
