As a long-time wrestling fan and avid gamer, I can’t help but feel my heart racing with excitement as AEW continues to deliver jaw-dropping moments that blur the lines between reality and fiction. This week’s AEW Dynamite and Comic-Con panel were no exception, leaving me on the edge of my seat and eagerly anticipating All In at Wembley Stadium.
As a long-time fan of professional wrestling, I was absolutely thrilled to witness the latest developments in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) unfold during this week’s Dynamite. The excitement leading up to AEW All In at Wembley Stadium continued to build, but AEW didn’t just limit themselves to that – they made a stop at San Diego Comic-Con as well!
A Dream Scenario
For years, Baker has expressed her desire to compete against Mone in a match. This opportunity has long eluded her since she rejoined the wrestling scene at Forbidden Door. However, Mone has yet to agree. Recently, Baker disclosed that this match used to be just a dream for her, but now holds deeper meaning as Mone has joined her company and proclaimed herself as its face. “I’ve been advocating for this encounter for five, six years,” Baker declared. “Now it’s more than a dream; she’s in my organization, in my domain, presenting herself as the embodiment of my brand.” Surprisingly, Mone appeared just as Baker was speaking.
As a huge fan, I can’t help but express my excitement as I call out, “Hello Comic-Con, it’s an honor to introduce you to your CEO!” The room responded with a mix of chants, some shouting “D.M.D.”, others calling for “CEO.” I couldn’t help but ask Britt another question, “I must admit, I’m taken aback that you’re here. Britt, how are you holding up after last night’s shocking turn of events at AEW Dynamite? The attack by Kamille left everyone in awe, revealing her new role as the TBS Champ’s enforcer.”
As a seasoned wrestling journalist with years of covering the industry’s biggest stars, I’ve seen my fair share of intense rivalries and heated exchanges between wrestlers. But the interaction between Britt and Mercedes Mone during that panel was something else.
Making It Official
As a passionate fan, I can’t help but express my frustration over the prolonged feud between Dr. Britt Baker and Mercedes Mone on AEW Dynamite. For weeks now, we’ve been witnessing their heated arguments, and as much as I’m excited for their chemistry, it’s time for action. That’s why Tony Khan, in his powerful voice over the microphone, declared enough is enough! He announced that on August 25th, at Wembley Stadium during AEW All In, we will finally get to see the highly-anticipated TBS Championship match between Dr. Britt Baker and Mercedes Mone. I, for one, can’t wait!
At the announcement, the crowd erupted in cheers, and Baker couldn’t contain his excitement, even as Mone’s displeased shouts echoed from across the stage. Mone is far from thrilled about facing Baker at All In, but Strickland, who was beaming with delight, proclaimed, “I adore this company,” chuckling as things wrapped up.
