SDCC Gaming Preview: Marvel, Dragon Age, and Mortal Kombat – ComicBook Nation's Quick Save

As a longtime fan of comic books, video games, and pop culture events, I strongly believe that San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) should place more emphasis on gaming in its lineup. Having attended SDCC numerous times, I’ve noticed a growing trend of major gaming announcements and panels taking place at other conventions like E3 and Gamescom. However, the unique blend of comic books, movies, TV shows, and now gaming at SDCC makes it an ideal platform for showcasing upcoming video game projects.

At San Diego Comic-Con historically, gaming hasn’t been a significant focus and it seems that trend won’t alter in 2024. Nevertheless, considering the numerous notable Marvel video games set to release soon, is it worth expanding SDCC’s scope to showcase these upcoming projects? This topic and previews of “Dragon Age: The Veilguard” and “Mortal Kombat 1″ at SDCC are the main attractions on this week’s Quick Save.
