Sea of Thieves Update 3.1.0.1 Released With Patch Notes

As a seasoned gamer with a hearty appetite for the high seas and digital plunder, I’ve been sailing the briny deep of Sea of Thieves since its launch back in 2018. With a life-long love for piracy, treasure hunts, and all things nautical, this game has become one of my favorite escapades. So, when Rare drops a new update, I’m always on the lookout for what fresh booty it brings to the table.

Today, Rare unveiled the latest update for “Sea of Thieves” on Xbox, PlayStation 5, and PC. Just over a week ago, Season 13 of “Sea of Thieves” began, offering a wealth of fresh content for players to explore. Now, a new hotfix has been rolled out for the multiplayer pirate game, aimed at addressing some ongoing issues that players have encountered.

The latest update for “Sea of Thieves,” version 3.1.0.1, is not a major one but it does come with some adjustments. Mainly, Rare has made minor fixes to the Skull of Siren Song Voyage and its initiation, as well as fine-tuning Skeleton Camps. Additionally, enhancements for stability on PlayStation 5 have been implemented in this update along with other modifications related to Burning Blade and Flame Rises.

Sea of Thieves Update 3.1.0.1 Patch Notes

Gameplay

  • Captain Briggsy’s message will reappear on the ship’s mast to signal that the Siren Song Voyage is about to commence.

  • If players don to special costumes designed for it, they’ll discover they can resume earning those specific Commendations, achieving their intended results.

Skeleton Camps

  • In simpler terms, only one team can perform a ritual at a Skeleton Camp simultaneously. Previously, this rule was temporarily adjusted in an update, but now it’s back to normal.

  • From now on, if players experience issues with their network while performing Rituals, they won’t earn extra Rituals anymore. This change was implemented earlier in a temporary system update.

The Burning Blade

  • Captains loyal to Flameheart can’t establish alliances with other teams when they have command over the Burning Blade.

  • In simple terms, the magic that multiplies the treasure inside the Burning Blade won’t work anymore once the game server changes.

  • Now, when players employ Bone Callers on the Burning Blade’s ship deck, they can expect their skeletal comrades to materialize by their side, fulfilling the original purpose of the artifact.

The Flame Rises

Performance and Stability

  • As a devoted player, I’m thrilled to share that the developers have fine-tuned the game’s stability on PlayStation 5. Now, when I dive into the Pirate Emporium to acquire those coveted Ancient Coins, the experience is smoother than ever before!
