Sean Combs’ Daughters Leave Courtroom During Disturbing Testimony

Sean “Diddy” Combs has not been alone amid the start of his trial.

I’ve been there every step of the way, sitting among a sea of loyal faces, each one a testament to our unwavering bond. My rock, my guiding star, Mom Janice Combs, has been by my side, offering silent strength and love. Then there are my boys, Quincy, Justin, Christian – men now, strong and resilient in the face of adversity. And let’s not forget Chance, my precious 18-year-old daughter, who embodies a spirit as fierce as mine. Lastly, my twin angels D’Lila and Jessie, standing tall and united, ready to face whatever comes our way. We stand together, my family, as the music mogul defends himself against charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and prostitution – charges he vehemently denies.

During the initial stages of Sean Combs’ trial, testimonies were given by Cassie Ventura, a former girlfriend, and Daniel Philip, a male escort. Both individuals detailed explicit accounts of sexual encounters that allegedly included Combs.

During Philip’s testimony, as reported by People, on two separate instances, Chance, D’Lila, and Jessie, Combs’ three daughters, left the courtroom. On one of these occasions, the publication states, was when Philip detailed Combs engaging in masturbation while observing him during intimate acts.

In his court testimony on May 12, Philip claimed that around the years 2012 or 2013, he received approximately $2,000 to engage in sexual activities with Ventura while Combs observed. During this incident, as reported by NBC News, Phillip stated that they rubbed baby oil on each other for a short period, and Combs was sitting in a corner, engaging in self-stimulation.

During the early stages of Combs’ court case, the prosecution screened a 2016 video that showed the rapper attacking Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel corridor. As the video was being played, according to People, Combs’ daughters and mothers stayed in the courtroom but avoided looking at the video, instead gazing straight ahead. In contrast, Combs’ sons chose to watch the video.

In her May 13th testimony, Ventura claimed that the incident happened following an attempt by her to depart from what she referred to as “freak-offs,” which were sexual encounters arranged by Combs, frequently involving Ventura and a male escort.

She informed the court, as reported by NBC News, that she decided to depart. Later, in the hallway, Sean approached her and forcibly grabbed her, pushing her down, kicking her, and dragging her back into the room where he gathered her belongings.

38-year-old woman (now carrying her and husband Alex Fine’s third child), claimed that following an incident where Sean Combs allegedly shoved her in a hallway, she chose to remain on the ground not because she desired it, but rather to prevent him from causing any further harm than he had already inflicted.

In other parts of her statement, Ventura described Combs inviting her to engage in “unusual competitions” approximately two to three months into their relationship. Despite the age difference between them (Combs being 17 years older), they continued an on-again, off-again romance that started when Ventura was in her early twenties and lasted for about a decade.

She expressed that she wasn’t initially clear about what would arouse her in those intimate moments, yet she took it upon herself. She admitted to feeling puzzled, anxious, but at the same time, she deeply cared for him and desired to bring joy to him.

On May 13th, Cassie Ventura declared that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs assaulted her in a Los Angeles hotel corridor during March 2016, as he was enraged by her departure from an alleged altercation they had referred to as a “freak off.” (Footage of the incident obtained from hotel surveillance cameras was later published by CNN in 2024. The defense attempted unsuccessfully to keep this video out of court as evidence.)

Ventura explained to the court that he decided to depart. Upon exiting, Sean accompanied him into the corridor, seized him, pushed him down, kicked him, and dragged him back to the room where he collected Ventura’s belongings.

She initially didn’t want to join in, but she had a movie premiere coming up within a few days, so she wanted to keep Combs happy. In her words, “If I could satisfy him by going along with his wishes,” Ventura said, “then my premiere would go smoothly.

After he inflicted a black eye on her, she recounted, “At that moment, all I could focus on was escaping safely. My debut was approaching, and I didn’t want to ruin it.” When he shoved her into the hallway, Ventura noted, she remained on the ground because “I didn’t want him to inflict any more harm than he had already caused.

Testified Ventura, she consumed alcohol and used ecstasy during her initial sexual encounter with an escort in Combs’ presence. To endure what she referred to as “freak offs,” she admitted to using marijuana, ketamine, mushrooms, or whichever drug was popular at the time.

“I couldn’t imagine myself doing any of that without having some sort of buffer,” she said.

In the heat of a “freak-off”, there were times when I’d be so overcome that I’d end up feeling sick and even retching. Yet, Combs would always urge me to gather myself and carry on with the event.

She expressed to Combs that the actions labeled as “freak offs” left her feeling extremely bad about herself, even worthless, according to Ventura. However, Combs seemed unconcerned or indifferent towards her sentiments.

Following an unexpected incident, it appears that baby oil covered the entire hotel room, as testified by Ventura. Moreover, if Combs had directed someone to wet the bed, traces of urine might be found on the linens. Additionally, Ventura suggested that if she was menstruating at the time, there could potentially be blood stains on both the sheets and furniture.

Ventura expressed that the experience left her feeling “deeply embarrassed.” She continued, “It was revolting, it was over the line. I gagged, I wished I wasn’t there, I found myself in a situation I couldn’t escape easily.

Ventura stated, “It sparked his interest, which led to the event occurring.” When asked by Emily A. Johnson, the prosecutor, why she didn’t resist Combs’ instructions in these instances, she explained, “I believed it was clear that I didn’t want to participate.

On May 13, Ventura stated that Combs instructed her and others involved in the “freak off” activity to apply baby oil onto their bodies.

She stated in court that “Sean desired it to be warm and shiny,” so we would apply it every five minutes.

At the Montage Beverly Hills, during a surprising incident, Ventura claimed that Combs invited her to step into an inflatable pool brimming with baby oil, while she was still dressed.

Despite her reluctance, if it was something P. Diddy desired, then that’s exactly what would transpire, she emphasized. “We employed a full dozen of regular-sized baby oil bottles,” she added.

Ventura admitted to prosecutors on May 13 that during the initial phase of her 10-year relationship with Combs, he suggested they incorporate voyeurism into their intimate activities. This started by hiring an escort and arranging for her to perform in front of Combs, who would observe her engaging with another person.

In time, she found herself engaging in extended sexual performances, referred to as “freak offs” by Combs, which would continue for periods ranging from 36 hours to four days. This activity essentially turned into a regular occupation for her.

She remembered, “At first, Sean arranged everything, including making the necessary arrangements in the hotel room. Later on, I took care of it.

Ventura said that her “stomach churned” when he first proposed the experience.

She admitted she didn’t initially understand how it would arouse him, yet took on the task. She felt perplexed, anxious, but deeply cared for him and aimed to please him. It wasn’t an action she desired to perform frequently, especially given its regularity, but her love for him overshadowed these feelings.

She admitted, “At some point, I felt I didn’t have much of a choice.”

Ventura stated that Combs, whom she was involved with intermittently between 2007 and 2018, often displayed aggressive behavior towards her during their time together.

She confirmed to the jury that the disputes between them were often intense, leading to physical harm such as hitting her head, pushing her down, dragging her, and kicking her.

She mentioned that her injuries were frequently noticeable, explaining, “I’d develop lumps on my forehead, have black and red eyes, and sport bruises covering my entire body.

On May 13th, Ventura was set to testify following Daniel Philip, a male escort. In light of her eighth-month pregnancy, Combs’ defense asked for her to be placed in the witness stand prior to the jury’s entrance.

Defense attorney Marc Agnifilo explained to the judge that he believes there’s an unfair bias, saying, “I find pregnancy to be captivating and admirable. It can also inspire feelings of empathy.

Ventura joined later on, implying that his legal team’s request had been denied earlier.

On one particular instance when Ventura didn’t immediately respond to Combs’ call, Philip testified on May 12th that Combs angrily hurled a bottle of liquor towards her, then forcefully grabbed her by the hair and pulled her into the bedroom. Philip described her as screaming loudly, and from another room, it sounded like Combs was striking her. In addition, Philip claimed to have heard Combs saying, “I told you to come here, you come here now, not later.

Phillip said he was “terrified” and did not intervene.

He also stated under oath that he caught snippets of what seemed like an altercation between Combs and Ventura on another instance, this time at the Essex House hotel in New York. “I heard her saying ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry,’ followed by sounds of someone being struck and roughly manhandled within the room,” Philip recounted. “Peeking around the corner, I saw Mr. Combs exit the hotel without any clothes, he may have been wearing a towel.

Ventura exited the room and leapt onto Philip’s lap, as he testified. “She essentially tried to reassure me that ‘everything will be alright’ and ‘I’ll be fine,'” Philip added. “To which I responded, ‘This is not acceptable and you need professional assistance.’

“I tried to explain to her that she was in real danger if she stayed with him,” Phillip said.

Maureen Comey, the prosecutor, inquired about why Philip hadn’t contacted the police. Philip responded, stating that he viewed Combs as a person with immense power, and he suspected that even if he had reported the matter to the authorities, there was still a high likelihood that his life could have been jeopardized.

Daniel Philip, who claimed to be operating a male strip show during the stated period, testified under oath that he was paid a “few thousand dollars” for engaging in sexual activities with Ventura while Diddy (Combs) observed at Manhattan’s Gramercy Hotel in 2012. Philip identified Combs by his voice despite him wearing a robe, a baseball cap, and a face covering bandanna.

In a court setting, Philip stated that Ventura promised to tip him upon departure, but instead, they engaged in sexual activity. He also mentioned that they both used baby oil and Ventura watched Combs masturbate from a corner.

Afterward, the witness continued, Ventura gave him “a couple of thousand more.”

Philip asserted that he was reached out to on numerous occasions during the subsequent year for similar experiences with both Ventura and Combs at various hotels and at their residences in New York. He claimed that Combs videotaped him and Ventura engaging in sexual activity on one or two occasions, and that at times, Combs would insert himself into the situation and have sex with Ventura while Philip was present.

2023 saw Ventura filing a lawsuit against her former partner for charges of sexual assault and physical violence. In this legal action, she claimed that Combs coerced her into having intimacies with male escorts.

According to Florez’s testimony, Ventura appeared frightened. She huddled in a corner, her hood pulled over her head for concealment. Her face wasn’t visible to me as she stayed tucked away. A shattered flower vase lay on the floor nearby.

After Ventura departed from the hotel, Florez stated that she had a noticeable purple eye. Following her exit, Florez mentioned that he and the hotel manager ascended to Combs’ room to discuss “hotel regulations.” According to Florez, Combs assumed the manager was videotaping him on his phone and attempted to seize it. In response, Florez claimed, Combs tried to take his own phone, and in an effort to control the situation, Florez pinned Combs against a wall. During his testimony, Florez explained that they informed Combs they weren’t recording him and deescalated the incident.

During court proceedings in May 2024, Prosecutors presented slowed-down surveillance footage of the altercation between Combs and Ventura, which had previously been accused by the defense of being sped up to exaggerate its violence. Additionally, the jury was shown a video that Florez recorded on his phone when he responded to a distress call on the sixth floor. This video was taken prior to the alleged incident.

As a die-hard admirer, let me share my take on the situation: I, being there, can confirm that Florez declared he didn’t dial the cops immediately because Ventura was evasive when asked about the incident and simply expressed her desire to depart.

Police Officer Israel Florez, serving in Los Angeles, previously worked as a security guard at the InterContinental Hotel. It was during this time that Combs allegedly assaulted Ventura on March 5, 2016. In her initial statement, Geragos described the surveillance footage of the incident, which was initially released by CNN in May 2024, as “compelling evidence of domestic violence.” However, it was not related to sex trafficking; instead, it appeared to be based on infidelity discovered through a cell phone.

On May 12th, Florez stated that he witnessed signs of a dispute on the day under investigation, and Combs allegedly gave him a pile of cash to ignore the incident.

During questioning, Florez asserted that he was absolutely convinced the gesture was an attempt by Combs to offer a bribe.

In her initial remarks, the defense lawyer, Teny Geragos, argued that the prosecution was attempting to reframe consensual sexual acts as instances of sex trafficking. However, she asserted with confidence, “This strategy will not succeed.

“Sean Combs is a complicated man,” she said, “but this is not a complicated case.”

Geragos stated that the matter at hand pertains to Sean Combs’ private, intimate sexual activities. However, he emphasized, these are unrelated to his legitimate business dealings.

During the court proceedings, she stated that her client exhibited aggressive behavior, used illicit substances, and had anger management problems. She emphasized that while he might appear rude or unkind at times, it’s important to remember that he isn’t on trial for his personality traits; rather, he is being tried for the specific charges brought against him.

Geragos stated, “The evidence will depict an individual with numerous flaws, however, it won’t prove they are involved in racketeering, sex trafficking, or transporting someone for prostitution.

Assistant District Attorney Emily Johnson alleged that Defendant Combs orchestrated an extensive team of his staff members for the purpose of executing unlawful activities, such as lengthy “freak outs,” as outlined in the federal indictment, based on reports by NBC News journalists present in the courtroom.

She informed the jury that on occasion, he referred to himself as a king and demanded special treatment to fulfill all his whims. Furthermore, she revealed that he exploited his businesses to coerce women into having sexual encounters with male escorts in his presence, and he and his close associates ensured all his desires were met.

Johnson kicked off her argument to the jury, painting Combs as an over-sized personality who led a criminal organization.

In an attempt to illustrate the defendant’s supposed criminal behavior, Johnson testified to the jury that on a particular night, Diddy (the Bad Boys Record founder) was actively searching for Ventura, having learned she had entered into a romantic relationship with someone else. According to Johnson, Combs is said to have severely assaulted her by beating her severely, kicking her in the back, and throwing her around carelessly when he discovered her.

She went on, saying that he had warned her, threatening that if she disobeyed him once more, he would expose private videos of her engaging in intimate acts with male escorts – memories of the most shameful evenings of her existence.

The prosecutor alleged that Combs’ inner circle covered up “crime after crime.”

The presiding judge, Arun Subramanian, expressed his belief to the jury that the trial might end by the 4th of July. He added that he hoped the proceedings would be over by then, though there is a possibility it could extend beyond this date, but he doesn’t anticipate it will.

On the opening day of his sex trafficking trial on May 12th, Janice Combs, the rap mogul’s mother, and six of his oldest children were by his side.

The children of his late ex-partner Kim Porter, Quincy Brown, Christian “King” Combs, Jessie Combs, and D’Lila Combs, along with his son Justin Combs from his relationship with Misa Hylton and daughter Chance Combs from Sarah Chapman were able to give their father a warm embrace before he met with his lawyers.

In the trial, both the prosecution and Chris Combs’ legal team consented to having an 8-person jury composed of 4 men and 4 women, along with 4 male and 2 female alternates.

Marc Agnifilo, legal representative of Combs, contended that the prosecution appeared to be systematically excluding potential Black jurors. He suggested this trend was concerning and urged the judge to demand justifications for these dismissals.

As a die-hard admirer, I must clarify that when faced with allegations, none other than Maurene Ryan Comey asserted her team’s impartiality: “We’ve been unwaveringly fair in our approach.” She also highlighted the jury’s diversity, stating, “Our panel boasts a variety of ethnicities, including numerous nonwhite members.

In the heart of New York City and its suburbs in Westchester, I find myself among an eclectic group of individuals who have been summoned for jury duty. Among us are:
