For nearly three years now, the gripping thriller series The Ex-Wife has been a staple on Paramount Plus. But exciting news! This year, we’ll finally rejoin Tasha, Jen, and Jack as season 2 is about to premiere.
Initially, in the first season, the characters Céline Buckens played as Tasha and Tom Mison portrayed as Jack appeared to be a contented married couple. However, their marital harmony started to fray when Tasha grew uneasy about her husband’s strong relationship with his ex-partner, played by Janet Montgomery as Jen.
The final act of the season was filled with suspense as a devastating car crash left the future of Tasha and Jack’s child, Emily, uncertain.
Additionally, just like McGrath, the images indicate the presence of Buckens and Mison in the upcoming season, along with their co-star Jordan Stephens, portraying Tasha’s friend and past love interest, Sam.
In the upcoming season, we’ll find ourselves three years later since the first one, with Tasha living incognito in Cyprus under an assumed name, accompanied by Emily who, remarkably, appears to have made it through. Meanwhile, Jennifer has advanced her life and is on the verge of tying the knot.
Yet, Tasha’s new beginning is cut short as she discovers that Jack has been freed prematurely, serving only a year of his full term in prison.
He appears to be a changed man, but can he really be trusted?
Initially, when Season 2 of “The Ex-Wife” was officially revealed, the deputy chief content officer at Paramount UK, Sebastian Cardwell, expressed his excitement about collaborating once more with Clapperboard, Blackbox Media, and Night Train for another round of “The Ex-Wife.
Our initial sequence was a massive hit, and for the sequel, we’re guaranteeing an abundance of unexpected plots! I’m eagerly anticipating our talented ensemble breathing life into the upcoming episodes of this gripping tale.
Besides being recognized for her role as Morgana in Merlin, McGrath has also taken on significant parts in Supergirl and The Continental, and can be seen in movies like Jurassic World as well.
