As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent hunched over various gaming chairs, I can confidently say that the new Secretlab Titan Evo NanoGen Edition chair has piqued my interest. The emphasis on durability and comfort is something I’ve long sought in a gaming chair, as my previous experiences have left me with a few too many broken backsrests and deflated cushions.
Today, Secretlab expanded its Titan Evo series with the introduction of a new model: the NanoGen Edition. Although it retains a resemblance to the traditional Titan Evo gaming chair, don’t be fooled by the similar appearance; the real focus this time is on the innovative materials used in the NanoGen Edition. Secretlab is touting the use of a unique NanoGen hybrid leatherette and a NanoFoam composite foam, which they claim results in an extraordinary leap forward in comfort.
In their announcement for the Titan Evo NanoGen Edition gaming chair, Secretlab discussed the challenge they often face when designing such products: achieving a comfortable exterior that also offers long-lasting durability. The NanoGen Edition chair aims to solve this problem by utilizing NanoGen hybrid leatherette, which is more supple than ever while being their most resilient leatherette yet. Inside, you’ll find the new NanoFoam composite, said to be Secretlab’s most supportive foam to date. Additionally, the armrests have been improved with memory foam that was previously an optional feature but now comes standard in the NanoGen Edition.

In essence, the NanoGen Edition chair is primarily an improvement focusing on durability and comfort, rather than introducing a novel shape or design. Although we haven’t tried it ourselves, its appearance appears to be a blend between the standard Titan Evo and the SoftWeave version, with the latter being softer but not as durable. This latest Titan Evo NanoGen Edition chair is available in two colors: Pure Black and an exclusive Pure White. The black chair is common across Secretlab’s various models, but the new Pure White chair stands out because almost all of its components are white, from the backrest down to the wheels on the casters. If you’re aiming for a minimalist, all-white aesthetic in your gaming area and are willing to test the durability of the NanoGen Edition, the Pure White chair could be your choice.
Secretlab’s chairs, including the NanoGen Edition, are not inexpensive; the same holds true for their Pure White and Pure Black models, priced at $799.99 each. This is approximately $250 more than you would pay for a regular Titan Evo chair at present.
Based on Secretlab’s usual approach to releasing new products, it’s expected that the NanoGen Edition will initially be offered in black and white. As time goes by, more color options may become available. Secretlab often collaborates with well-known brands, such as recently launching a Dragon Ball chair this month and a Warhammer 40,000 one last month. Therefore, it’s likely that you’ll see various special edition chairs from past and future collaborations added to the NanoGen Edition in the future if you’re willing to wait.
